Feeling worse after a cold?
I was diagnosed in 2016 - with symptoms going back before then as is usual - not on meds yet, just lots of indoor
cycling
and PD Warrior. I'm 47 with 2 youngish kids and based in the UK.

Slow road to fitness (more or less)
I had a good chat with the trainer at the local gym and we've started off with some cardiowork - a few minutes of
cycling
, treadmill, and cross-trainer. My personal favourite, the rowing machine, I think I'll need to leave for quite a time!

Building lean mass as a Type 1 diabetic following a Ketogenic diet.
I think that
cycling
between carbs and no carbs is likely to be challenging as I no longer use any sort of standard carb:insulin ratio, it's all based around meals at macro's consistent with the keto diet. Has anyone tried the Targeted Keto Diet or the Cyclical Keto Diet?

I just don't know wether to have ablation or not
They don't want to put me on a beta blocker as it will affect my
cycling
and have given me the option of an ablation and left it with me to make up my mind. They have said here is nothing sinister going on and are not worried about the AF but more the symptoms.

WARFARIN AND BRUISING
(5mg/day). 3 days ago I had
cycling
accident - came off my bike at about 12mph, and took most of the energy out on my left hip. Initially the area became swollen and I applied ice packs later. As expected bruising appeared after 12 hours, initially over an area similar to the palm of my hand.

Foot pain advice please!
I am doing some
cycling
to help keep up fitness but so missing the runs now I’ve started. I worry I will go back to week 1 again and all my efforts in the past will have been for nothing. Help!! 😳 xx

It’s so cold outside!
Some times I can go
cycling
with kids; play tag while
cycling
. Crazy! But fun... however this cold has me so uncomfortable. It’s too cold for me!! So much pain (I live in Northeast but so glad I no longer live in the Midwest).

Doing it all over again...
I started walking and
cycling
, and then started C25K again. I went all the way to completing week 8 last October, but then some personal stuff got in the way and caused a hiatus over the Christmas period.

Had my Ablation yesterday
I'm taking it easy for a week so the groin wound can heal but after that I was surprised that the doctor said I could go straight in to
cycling
again without any danger to my heart.

Prednisone increases Blood my pressure
I am also doing Cardio; walking, Elipitical,
Cycling
, etc. My left shoulder is the worst. Thinking of asking my rheumatologist about giving me a cortisone shot.

Skiing after cardioversion
I should have recognized the AF symptoms as during 2017 I was running and
cycling
like a sack of spuds compared to previous years (I'm a triathlete since 2003, previous rugby/climbing/mountain biking/running etc) and was putting this down to age, lack of mojo etc, and not down to a problem.

Hi
The NHS has been wonderful in looking after me, and I try to keep fit by
cycling
at least once a week, and swimming on an average 4 times a week.

Diagnosed at 30
I'm an endurance athlete and had just finished a
cycling
trip across Europe,
cycling
over 100 miles a day for 5 months. I've never been on any medication or had any treatment. I have episodes frequently, usually every other day, although sometimes longer periods in between.

Pulse Testosterone Supplementation
Does not involve Sam Denmeade & his BAT protocol, but the idea is similar - rapid T
cycling
. "The rapid
cycling
from hypogonadal to physiological or supra-physiological T intraprostatic concentrations results in cytostatic and senescence effects in preclinical models of androgen-sensitive Pca.

“Self-cardioverters” - read on!
This is my anecdotal evidence: 10 minutes
cycling
uphill at high intensity (= can’t go any faster!) works. (Tried on 17 occasions, 15 of those were successful) Indoor
cycling
machine at high intensity does NOT work.

First bling of the year and new goals!
I'm really excited about combining my running with
cycling
and swimming and can already cover all the necessary individual distances although putting them together into one event rather than having rest days between them will be fun and challenging! Bring it on!
