In my fifty's I have always been active but with age came ailments such as sciatica which put pay to
cycling
. I enjoy been out in the fresh air and am enjoying finding new walks and new places to go. OS Maps has been a real help with this and i find myself just wanting to be out and about.

He was incredibly fit and healthy, a keen cyclist,
cycling
up to 100 miles a day, didn’t drink, smoke and was a very good weight. He had an echo and clotesterol test around 6 months prior, all coming back fine.

Aaaargh! W4 looming large...
have had sore shins this week.... really struggling to get past the last 3 minute run as well, all I can think of is clockface ticking down and the legs don't want to know...and having already looked up what W4 holds, its fair to say I am not as energised as I wanted to be...on top that I have been

W2R2 - fight with myself continues
Shortly after I saw long-time-no-see-friend
cycling
all fresh and happy to work O_O we stopped for a quick catch-up chat. Very nice encounter. My pace and rhythm already in bin. OK, here I go... Where did I finish? Which minute? I am in a wrong place...

Exercsing with Arrhythmia
The current advice from my GP prior to any treatment is to STOP
cycling
but where practical to keep active and walk as much as possible. I recently blacked out during a cycle ride so reluctantly I'm going to have accept this advice and work with my GP while tests etc are on-going.

Looking for an exceptionally good therapist or shaman for Complex PTSD. Would love someone Knowledgeable in actually releasing trauma.
I study laws of abundance and chakras, do a lot of Louise Hay mirrorwork and Esther Hicks...but and I’m quite stuck in fear and
cycling
thru yet more evidence of “victim story” repeating, it seems to be escalating rather than getting better.

Starting first IVF cycle...eek
I’m a little anxious just now because we’re
cycling
abroad in Czech Republic and will fly out there just before egg collection but we haven’t been able to book flights/hotel until my AF arrives and even then there’s a risk that I don’t respond to stimms and have to cancel, but I’m hoping that won’t be

That’s a first
Apart from
cycling
to work, I never do anything sporty before work. Ever. Until today! I really did catch the running bug I think.

Advice on complaining/raising a concern about a consultant (self referral)
I didn't have a problem with moods or depression, only some concern of feeling like I'm constantly suffocating and being so lethargic that I had to give up work and not able to continue
cycling
. He seemed more interested in looking up my mother's records after he checked my family history.

Back to it...
Then realised that I had reset the device to miles rather than kilometres because I've been using it for
cycling
! Hooray! A little slower than before, but only a little, and I can see my way to the full 5K over the next couple of weeks. Brilliant programme, feel so good.

Exercise and anxiety
I am really really pushing myself right now and
cycling
about 5 miles a day. It’s so hard the whole time I am fixated on my heart and when I sweat and get out of breathe just associate it with a heart attack :( I’m trying to beat this but it ain’t going anywhere.

Treadmill or road/gravel?
I love
cycling
because my mind is active with the scenery etc but in the gym I get bored on the bike within 10 minutes . Is it the same running? I guess the change in gradients and surface can make it harder? If you’ve done both which is better/easier?

Problems at the 5 week mark :(
I'm not terribly unfit, I do a lot of
cycling
, but I am certainly new to running and don't find it easy at all. However after repeating week 3 and 4 I found myself feeling fitter and fitter and really enjoying it.

I'm a fifty year old male newbie who has always HATED running
I incorporated weight training,
cycling
and a bit of rowing then found the answer to my weight loss with a combination of Kettlebell training, skipping and Intermittent Fasting. This worked wonders and I started feeling (and looking) fit and healthy.

Advice please
Needless to say I am still swimmming,
cycling
and playing tennis as that’s what you do as a mum of boys at Center Parcs! Thanks.

Eye Stroke
Really shocked by this early warning as I had been feeling so well
cycling
to work, losing weight and generally feeling good. I’m left with partial grey spot on my vision, ringing in my ear and general anxiety of what might happen next!! Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. Lisa x

Recovery
It is important therefore for TBI survivors to STOP RISK in life and avoid driving and
cycling
as these are high risk actives that could lead to more brain damage. The head must be protected from all risk.
