I am Brad and just signed up to health unlocked and to Active 10. I need to get a little fitter and loose a stone while at it. In my fifty's I have always been active but with age came ailments such as sciatica which put pay to cycling. I enjoy been out in the fresh air and am enjoying finding new walks and new places to go. OS Maps has been a real help with this and i find myself just wanting to be out and about.

Welcome to our friendly little forum. I’m in my 50’s too and have found a new love of outdoor exercise. Keep coming back and sharing your walks with us.
Welcome Brad. Walking is great, and when you make a conscious effort to increase it you really get to explore a lot of neat places. When my partner and I go on holidays, we always plan them around places we like to walk - it easily takes up the bulk of our activities.
Welcome Brad, hope we can help you get those legs moving, shame about the cycling I love going to a couple of bike rides each week, usually about 15K (with a coffee break in the middle) or a 4 or 5K Nordic walk
