Week 8, mini hiatus due exhaustion after brighton triathalon on Sunday....Not sure if I want to continue with running ! For awhile anyway
Whilst cross training with swimming,
cycling
and some core strength exercise. With my aim to reach week 8 or 9 and be able to run 2.5km fairly consistently.

The PVC returned during two weeks after RFA and then vanished for 5 weeks (completely - I have not had this for years and years), I was

W8R3 - sorrrrrteeeeeeed!
I was amazed with my newfound
cycling
stamina due to my running. Unbelievably pleased with myself and can't wait to get some longer rides under my belt which running can only help with.

My calves took a while to get used to the new angle of attack though, and I now understand why running is an 'impact' sport and
cycling
isn't. It feels like harder work somehow. Anyhow I'm back for more tomorrow....

Finished W1
I was
cycling
a lot on holiday - around 10 miles a day - so W1 wasn't too much of a struggle. Wondering how the extra 30 seconds running in W2 will change that !

How I gave myself a food addiction through dieting
During which I was
cycling
for about 2 hours and doing gymnastics for 1.5 hours every single day. I don't know where to go from here.

hobbling...time out...what has it been like for you?
I've been running 3 times a week and
cycling
on many of the other days so a rest is overdue. My ankle feels fine when doing that but walking is a problem! I've had gait analysis and my shoes are great, I have a healthy diet so plenty of the right fuel to fix me.

Even though i wasn't sure what to wear in the rain, and decided upon my normal kit and my
cycling
jacket to keep my top half dry at least. Really enjoyed running in the rain but my legs were tired today.

After recovery from rhabdomyolysis
I was unable to walk for one week during a bout of exertional rhabdomyolysis from too much
cycling
. Has anyone else suffered from this? I now know I have increased susceptibility to rhabdo due to an underlying condition of malignant hyperthermia.

Runniversary one! 😀
. 😄 Some of you know, that I began C25K expecting to run W1 repeatedly over the winter when
cycling
was not so enticing, simply to avoid losing fitness. I had no worries about not managing a run because I assumed that I wouldn’t!

Post Concussion Syndrome Five Years later... memory getting progressively worse?
Hi folks, 36 year old male, desk job 9-5, actively participating in sport (running and
cycling
), have always had good mental health and physical health. Just wanted to ask opinion. I took a knock on the head about 5 years ago (fell off bike - with helmet on!)

W2R2 First Parkrun!
I ache all over at the mo but I’m putting that down to also borrowing a ‘Brighton Bike’ yesterday and going
cycling
for the first time in donkey’s years. I think I’ll go for W2R3 and 6k on Monday though I am a bit daunted by it. I got my Parkrun results about an hour after the run.

Which App is Best?
I love to exercise by walking,
cycling
, doing yoga etc. I am starting a new job that will require that I travel and so I will only be able to bring my running shoes. I would love advice on which apps you like best and why. Thank you!

Taking my new Hokas down memory lane...
A little smile remembering often
cycling
along there on my way home from the pubs in town, rather tipsy, plastic pint in hand. 1km later diving off into Cherry Hinton hall where the folk festival takes place, snatches of songs of various artists over the years popping into my head.
