I start rapid
cycling
in the fall thru the spring. Just taking it one day at a time. My biggest struggle is with my family. After all these years they still don't seem to get it. They almost punish me for my episodes, like I can control them.

W2R2 ... what a wonderful experience
When walking fast and then running in the park I stuck to the side of the paths as it is so very popular with many cyclists and aware that they were either
cycling
towards me or were coming up behind me.

Dissociation /Depersonalization/derealization
I posted here a month ago about my anxiety, depression, mood
cycling
symptoms I was having. Now I feel really detached as if my mind and emotions are away from me and I can barely hold on to my thoughts. Further convincing myself that I've reached a point of no return.

A rare male sufferer
Prostate checked out fine but things gradually degenerated pain wise to the point where I stopped
cycling
4 or 5 weeks ago. Bikes are a huge part of my life and it's all been very depressing.

Heart Rate
I'm now 2 years on since Cardiac Arrest and am desperate to get back running and
cycling
but I've been advised that my max heart rate is 109bpm and I can obviously soon get it up and above that.

Period-like pains
I’m quite lucky as I only get back pain and sharp, sudden pains but I recently feel like I’ve got the constant pain of a period even though I’m not due on for another month and a half (tri-
cycling
). Is this a normal pain with Endo that’s getting worse?

BI group I go to up for health improvement award next week
Well a few week back someone from the awards came to film a bit of what happens day to day at the group as they have been shortlisted it’s between the BI group, a stroke group or a fitness
cycling
group who wins now. A panel of judges will decide now who should win.

Taking the first step to better health 👣 and how cycling has helped me get fitter. 🚵♂️
I walked 2 miles to work as they took our parking away and then I took up
cycling
to get even fitter and would cycle out of the city and into the middle of nowhere and this really helped me recover my strength.

All's well that ends well.
Looking forward to getting back to work and
cycling
in due course. Would I have another ablation probably but hopefully not for another 8 years. I think my good fitness level before the op has stood me in good stead.

Mildly Dilated Ascending Aorta
Hi, I have mild to moderate systolic dysfunction, bicuspid aortic valve and mildly dilated ascending aorta, I'm 52 years old and earlier this year started
cycling
on the flatter routes around home, it was going all OK until about 3 weeks ago when I felt I Just didn't have it in me to do what I had been

Still not running 😞
Looks like I'm going to have to get the pushbike out of the back of the shed (although I hate
cycling
), and hunt out my swimming costume (I love swimming but can't stand a busy pool). For those of you that have been on the IC for a while, what were your coping strategies?? Thanks! LR x

Relieving boredom
Every time I have ever attempted running, walking,
cycling
I hit a boredom threshold which blocks my motivation. Any thoughts, tips to keep the motivation up?

Cycling on my rest days
So I’ve tried doing a bit of
cycling
on my upright exercise bike at home on rest days. I thought my fitness was generally improving with C25K which I haven’t struggled with yet (just finished week 4) but I don’t know what it is about
cycling
- I am in agony just a couple of minutes in!

Feeling awesome, I graduated yesterday! Grateful for the support this forum has given me :)
I used the days i wasn't running to either go
cycling
on a nearby cycle trail or do a bodyweight workout at home (pushups, squats, that sort of thing).

My challenge
On the days in between walks, I'm
cycling
for 20 minutes. Then on the 7th day, I go to a jive dance class. I also do stretching and neck exercises first thing every morning.

Mr Boniobiscuits has been
cycling
from Land's End to John O'Groats and is due to arrive there on Saturday. I'm heading up there to support him and cheer them all over the 'finish line' So as we'll be there for a couple of days, I'm hoping to do W9R2 as my first run away from home turf.

Still embarrassingly hard
It’s as though my walking and
cycling
don’t count or maybe it’s a simply that the best training for running is…running. There may be something weird happening to my head too. I’m almost – this can’t be right – looking forward to the runs now.
