I am new to this group and to HealthUnlocked. I love to exercise by walking, cycling, doing yoga etc. I am starting a new job that will require that I travel and so I will only be able to bring my running shoes.
I would love advice on which apps you like best and why.
Thank you!

No need for an app. Simply put the NHS C25K podcast on your phone, ipod or mp3 player and off you go. Since the program is only concerned with time (run & walk intervals are measured in minutes) you don't need to care about speed, pace, distance at the moment. Any of the running apps (and there are many) will give you a whole chunk of data and before long you'll be saying "hey, look at me I did C25K W6r1 at xx kph" or "Strava said my pace was 8.5 min/km but the C25K app said 8.2 min/km, which is correct?" or "I'm in week 9 and I don't think I'm going to reach 5km". And all the responses from this forum will be "don't worry, just run slowly, speed/pace/distance are not important".
But if you insist...
Strava / MapMyRun / RunKeeper / Nike+ Running / Endomondo. / Fuel My Run /Couch to 5K / Fitbit / Existing Health app on your phone / lolo Stretching.
In the "Running" folder on my iPhone I have:
MyFitnessPal, Garmin Connect, lolo Stretching, HealthUnlocked, BBC Weather.
