So feeling very miserable in my last post due to forcing myself to take a rest from running. Kept running on a twisted knee which was never going to heal. So 6 days no running, RICE, cycling. Tonight I gave it a go back on two feet....
Never in my life have I ran this far! I graduated C25K 3 weeks ago, this was probably only my 6th consolidation run. Bit slower than my usual average pace of 7’39 but very chuffed with my achievements this evening 😊

That's so brilliant RNFR - well done! And really happy to hear that, as I've been running through hip pain recently, and after yesterday's run, today I can barely walk, so HAVE to take some time off. You've inspired me! Maybe after a week's rest, I'll be able to run better than before! Good luck on the next one
This is so lovely to read. 5m is a terrific achievement and you deserve it. It's such a terrific feeling isn't it?
Your 10k will be waiting for you when you are ready and you are well on your way. No rush or pressure but know that you can do it!
