Take forever to recover from illness
I'm very sporty (running,
cycling
, weight training hiking etc) and it drives me mad that if I ever catch the slightest cold its weeks before I can train again - sometimes up to 7-9 weeks! By which time my fitness is rubbish!

Another stable guy from MA
He can't do any
cycling
now due to all the snow we have, and gym's a Covid no-go, but he gets out walking about four miles a day. He takes Lupron and Xgeva--hates both due to aches, pains, moodiness, but that's the current treatment.

Exercise is the Best medicine
Even so
cycling
up hills & walking up stairs are both a struggle. I’m just not giving in, but I do go carefully when the body tells me. Just my experience

KT Tapes work perfectly
This is to say nothing about knee bends and '
cycling
' in bed! I have stopped taking Ropinirole (2MG twice daily) since I have gotten very nauseous in the past couple of years. It was prescribed as a daytime dosage with Pregabalin at night.

Risk of ICDs and living with an ICD
I would welcome input on both the pro and cons of the 2 devices and practical feedback from members who have had either the traditional ICD or S-ICD on day to day life and undertaking daily physical exercise (mainly
cycling
and walking).

Clots not clearing up
I do exercise walking,
cycling
or strength training. What can the nhs do to help improve the situation. I was told I will be on blood thinners for life. If so does that mean I should talk to my pension providers in regard for shorter life expectancy. Lots of questions.

Cross Trainer
My physio has given me some exercises and recommended
cycling
and/or a cross trainer. Has anyone on here done the C25K on a cross trainer? Thank you. Mark.

Advice, encouragement, sharing
I seemed to be a fit 60 year old
cycling
20k every other day and going for 2/3 hour walks in the weekend, until climbing hills became more difficult and the chest/stomach pains started. Within 2 months I was not able to walk to the end of the road anymore.

I’m new here - How did you recover from a heart attack at 52 years old
I had a heart attack this week whilst
cycling
. Had a stent fitted and need another one in two weeks. This has really shocked me and I’m pretty frightened of what the future holds. What do I need to do to get back to some normality?

I have always loved Spin / Studio
Cycling
Classes, I cracked the swimming discipline. Now for the running, which should be the most intuitive, but I haven't done it. C25K is now on the table.

As easy as riding a bike
I'm thinking of using the programme to improve my
cycling
. The aim would be to achieve 30 minutes of high tempo
cycling
. Two goes at w1 and i think the aerobic fitness challenge will work and i travelled just under 10km. Just wondering what km target i should set. Couch to xxxkm!

Bipolar Androgen Therapy vs Enzalutamide in Asymptomatic Men With Castration-Resistant Metastatic Prostate Cancer.
Bipolar androgen therapy (BAT), defined as rapid
cycling
between high and low serum testosterone, disrupts this adaptive regulation in castration-resistant PCa (CRPC).

How do you exercise outside in the winter?
I'm a very fit 28 year old woman - on a mild day of between 10 to 25 degrees I'd be running,
cycling
and pre-pandemic I'd be going to gym and dance classes too.

What constitutes a ‘flare’?
I’m trying to attribute this to some strenuous - but not manic -
cycling
over the past week. But I’m possibly kidding myself and I’m wondering if these are the symptoms of a mini-flare. Not knowing how to recognise a flare I’m not sure.

Am I alone?
I got rid of my horrible husband and am in my new home, I eat better and am fitter than I have ever been -
cycling
and jogging.. never did those things before. It feels counter-intuitive that I am stage 4 with shortened life expectancy.

Sneaking one in before the Beast arrives .....
At this point serendipity cut in and caused my darling to tell off a group of three girls for
cycling
on the prom (we were back at the busiest bit near South Parade Pier at this point).
