As easy as riding a bike

The attempts at c25k have stopped at week 8 due to knee pain. My GP diagnosed ligament damage after the second occasion. I still get twinges and, at the age of 63 I don't want to knacker myself permanently.

I'm thinking of using the programme to improve my cycling. The aim would be to achieve 30 minutes of high tempo cycling. Two goes at w1 and i think the aerobic fitness challenge will work and i travelled just under 10km. Just wondering what km target i should set. Couch to xxxkm!

Were you doing the recommended knee exercises alongside C25K?

From personal experience, I can tell you that many knee issues can be overcome by strengthening exercises.
