Ulcerative colitis
I have had SLE/Lupus for 38 years (I am now 74) and am waiting for an urgent referral for a possible
colonoscopy
. I am wondering if I could have ulcerative colitis and would like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of it. Thank you.☺️

High platelets update….opinions please…..
Gastroscopy and
Colonoscopy
all clear. Do have Vitiligo, Underactive thyroid, Irritable Bowel and allergies. All other blood parameters fine apart from slightly high Eosinophils. Today I had my telephone appointment with my Haematologist to discuss my latest platelet count result.

lower right abdominal pain
, I am considering getting a
colonoscopy
to be sure 100% and maybe undetected polyps could be removed. I am very confused about what to do next, is this some lifelong IBS that I have to deal with or should I get more tests done? Thanks

Newly Diagnosed PSC
I'm going for a
colonoscopy
after Christmas to check my IBD is okay but I just wanted to reach out to anyone who has both IBD and PSC and would love to hear your stories. I'm finding it difficult to accept and I know Google isn't helping but I can't help feeling like I want to know more.

Thanks to everybody who responded to my recent post about a
colonoscopy
cancelled at the last second because I had earlier gone into AF. Thought I would finish it with an update.

Keeping quiet for over a year
I have been to maybe 4 or 5 local ents that do the basic in office routine of running camera through nose down throat and always say I don’t see anything .so 2 years ago I was put to sleep with local anesthesia for endoscopy and
colonoscopy
from severe stomach pain and throwing up for months.

Hypothyroid
I read about someone getting
colonoscopy
and endoscopy tests and wondered what for. I want my bowel and stomach checked as having terrible pain. Terrified to eat. GP have Laxido powder took a sachet with water, 2 hours later I was up 4 hours going to the toilet, terrible pain almost passing out.

Graves lack of appetite & feeling very low.
I had a CT scan with with contrast last week (all clear) & a
colonoscopy
on Sunday, they did find two polyps which have been removed, however they do not believe these to be the cause of my severe diarrhoea, weight loss & suppressed appetite, they believe it’s the graves that’s causing this.

Another FMT Study Showing Benefit In People With PD With Just One Transplantation Over One Year With Lasting Results
This is a bit surprising as in other FMT studies it appeared to be significantly less effective than
colonoscopy
delivery and possibly even capsule delivery, but this study was started in 2020 which may be the reason for this delivery method.

Finally got a colonoscopy
So after a year of waiting I finally got an appointment to see a gastro specialist who rushed me through for a
colonoscopy
, He mentioned that he also suspected endometriosis and arranged an appointment for me for two weeks after we spoke, Obviously due to the sedative I can't remember most of the

Bubbling sensations in the rectum area and very low gurgling sounds, has anyone had the same?
I have had blood tests and a
colonoscopy
. Everything is fine apart from high iron levels. But I was just wondering if anyone has had the same sensations/symptoms in the subject line? Any advice or reply from someone that has had the same symptoms would be appreciated.

COLONOSCOPY
Gooday, I have been short listed for a
colonoscopy
to exclude bowel cancer. The first step is to speak with the surgical consultant. I believe a local anesthetic may be administered. Currently I am on a low dose of Ibrutinib.
