Has this happened to anyone ?
Here the bleeding wouldn’t stop it consistently went on for nine months straight so they sent me for another
colonoscopy
in may came back with the same results. My bleeding had went away for 9 months after that
colonoscopy
an now it’s back again.

Med question guys and an update
The result was, that my count should have been 10 but it was 170 so he sent me for a bowel cancer
colonoscopy
scan. There was nothing nasty, just a few small polyps so I will go again for removal as they would not do so with me being on thinners.

Long term Ppi
I've been on various PPI's for about 20 years as I suffered a lot with acid reflux originally but after 3 endoscopies, a
colonoscopy
and numerous visits to the hospital all they could find was stomach inflammation and H Pylori most recently which was cleared up with a course of antibiotics .

Struggling to get a diagnosis
I have had a
colonoscopy
as they originally thought it may be a bowel disease. However this did not show anything. I then was referred to a Gynaecologist. I was really hopeful that after all this time I would get a diagnosis.

Blood thinners
Hi all For the 2nd year running my bowel test has come back as positive , I had a
colonoscopy
which was negative last year. Could it be the blood thinner (rivaroxin) causing blood in poo. I am also anaemic

Diverticulitis
I had a
colonoscopy
which luckily was was ‘excellently clear’ surgeon’s words, had some polyps and biopsies. Also diverticulitis diagnosed. My problem has always been difficulty in passing stools, sort of constipation. It has been worse since the
colonoscopy
. So I have tried laxitives.

All ok - I’m booked in for a
colonoscopy
next week. Has anyone had anything similar? Any advice? My mum had bowel cancer - I’m 65.

Could we have caught it super early?
(I had to have a
colonoscopy
where the initial thought was colitis but pathology came back negative.) October of last year I was hospitalized with an extreme case of pancolitis which is what caused me to see my GI again.

My GCA/LVV experience
Following a
Colonoscopy
, showing normal wear and tear ( diverticulosis). I have instinctively decided to stop Tocilizumab and take my Rheumatologist’s advice on next steps.

Miralax (Polyethylene Glycol 3350) has been the best solution for my chronic constipation for several years now.
The
colonoscopy
did find a small internal hemorrhoid near my rectum; but no polyps. Since then I have had very few problems with constipation, even with various prostate cancer medicines and radiological treatments.

My surgery is 2days away! It can't come quick enough 🎗
I've had a
colonoscopy
and I'm all clear. So this surgery on Tuesday will look fot any Endometriosis on my bowel. I have a left Hematosalpinx fallopian which needs removing. And my left ovary may need taking out as its stuck. Surgeon will try and save it if he can.

Symptoms increasing ....latest test results
In January I had a
colonoscopy
and in February Abdominal CT scan. Can these upset the metabolism of gut more than normal? If so how long before things start improving. My results from CT which I have done yearly are for previous kidney cancer are all clear. Contrast was used in CT scan.

Adverse Effects of Screening and Over-Diagnosis
In the case of fecal blood testing for colorectal cancer, patients with positive screening tests will undergo
colonoscopy
, which is expensive, inconvenient, and uncomfortable, and it carries its own risks such as accidental perforation of the colon.

Endo or Proctalgia fugax?
I also had a
colonoscopy
which didn’t show anything either. I recently had an MRI but only being seen by a gyno in May so no results (very frustrating). In the meantime I am traumatised and the countdown to my period is making me very very anxious.
