Managing Pudendal Neuralgia pain
I have a long history of haemorrhoids and banding has failed twice.A year ago I had a
Colonoscopy
in response to rectal bleeding and banding was completed. At this point I would have expected my Rectocele to have been spotted but it wasn’t until I later had camera tests for symptoms of mild Gastritis

Radiation Proctitis looking for advise please.
I have since had a
colonoscopy
that confirmed moderate radiation proctitis in my rectum. I am going to have Argon Plasma coagulation (APC) with application of Purastat . I have been told I may have to have it a few times. I wondered if anybody has any information/experience of this?

A Lot Has Been Going On Since I Last Posted
First, it was my stomach problems (recurrent diarrhoea since before 2019, a
colonoscopy
in 2019 found no reason for it) which started to improve a little. There has also been a slight but definite improvement in my mobility.

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My GP referred for a gastroscopy but then the FIT stool test came back full of blood so I have been referred for a
colonoscopy
too. My GP does not think it’s cancer but I have been referred urgently.

Bowel pain, bleeding and colonoscopy
I am being referred for a
colonoscopy
now to check if this is related to my Gynae problems or is something else. Have to get more bloods taken too. Is this similar to anyone elses experiences here? I am thinking possible bowel Endo, or is it something worse?

Still trying to test……
I’ve been putting off my annual Medichecks for various reasons, looking for an optimal time to do it - ie, post
colonoscopy
, post covid jab, post Christmas. I’d hoped to do it tomorrow but I’ve had a massive flare up of shoulder pain ( severe arthritis, gung-ho personality, Christmas cleaning ).

AFIB and Colonoscopy Prep
Question about
Colonoscopy
prep. I have persistent AFIB (as well as mild pulmonary hypertension). Was curious what type of prep you've done, and the problems you may have had. My GI doctor uses the 4 liter PEG prep (trade name Golytely). I've not had a
colonoscopy
before so certainly nervous.

He declined to order a
colonoscopy
because, as he said “you really wouldn’t want to have one of those”. So, I suppose my question is (& I am so sorry everybody for such a long post, but it’s really been helpful for me to write it all down for the first time!)

Tenesmus etc
I had a
colonoscopy
last year which found some diverticulosis, although when recently my GP examined me, this was not found. I started sulfasalazine last October for my RA and over the last few weeks my bowel habits have worsened - very soft stool, bouts of diarrhea and tenesmus.

Next week I have a
colonoscopy
at a private hospital nearby - there are two and I have only used this one infrequently because Benenden usually uses the other one.

Lower Right Abdominal Pain
, I am considering getting a
colonoscopy
to be sure 100% and maybe undetected polyps could be removed. I am very confused about what to do next, is this some lifelong IBS that I have to deal with or should I get more tests done? Thanks

h pylori treatment
Have a SIBO test, abdominal scan and endoscopy/
colonoscopy
lined up. I’ve also considered a GI Map stool test but this is difficult to organise where I live. i was operated on for peritonitis 13 years ago so am also considering ileocecal valve issues.

Colon cancer after CLL diagnosis
January was so blissful until Jan 30th and a routine
colonoscopy
where the Gastroenterologist found colon cancer in the sigmoid......PET scan showed nothing except something decipherable on the liver but they can't confirm anything on the liver yet and will not do the surgery until they are sure.
