Colonoscopy

I see gi next week and I’m hoping they will do a colonoscopy. I am sorry for the graphic pic, but curious if anyone has experienced this and what it was ? My biggest concern is cancer. Can anyone provide insight? Thank you

just had a q fit test score 15 now doing a second one, they say over ten is positive and should have colonoscopy, scared to say the least, not sure if I will. I had only told GP I had mixed be and a bleeding pile. Now this, anxiety through the roof . Any advice please. Thank you x

I’ve experienced a number of different symptoms over the past 2 and a half years which has resulted in me having a colonoscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and numerous blood tests. All thankfully have come back positive but I’ve really struggled during this time.

In January I had a Colonoscopy following bowel pain and blood detected in stool sample. Nothing found inside the bowel, but I am having the most agonising symptoms. I suspect that I must have significant Endo inside with problems around the rectum.

Hello folks, So I’m going to be having a colonoscopy at some point soon (still on waiting list) because of an enlarged liver, high calprotectin and IBD symptoms. I am extremely underweight at 43kg (I’m 5’4”) and extremely nervous about doing the prep for the procedure.

I've had tailbone mri, xray, steroid injections, colonoscopy in case it was something else. Nothing else showed up. I also have constant pelvic pain but I've learn to tolerate that. But I can't deal with the lower back/bum pain. Is there anything that has helped any of you to remove this pain?

Gooday, I have been short listed for a colonoscopy to exclude bowel cancer. The first step is to speak with the surgical consultant. I believe a local anesthetic may be administered. Currently I am on a low dose of Ibrutinib.

I was told I would have a further colonoscopy in 5 years, that was due in July this year. I have now been informed that due to a change in NICE guidance I no longer require a colonoscopy. I have read the NICE guidance and I believe I still require a colonoscopy.

Still, the endoscopy ruled out any issue that I didn't already have, so when I saw the gastro man again, he said the next thing was a colonoscopy.

I’m still getting fleshy looking bits in my poo and I’ve had an all clear ultrasound and I now have a colonoscopy in 6 weeks time, do I now need to get cancer out my head as I’ve had that many good results because I’m now back to racking my head about it

As I have posted on here before I have had constipation for over 10 yrs and after a recent colonoscopy I was told there was no cancer but I had diverticulitis as well as IBS and there was still some blockages in my large and small bowel.

He has had various blood tests and a colonoscopy which have all been ok. They have arranged for a rectal ct scan tomorrow to eliminate (hopefully) the possibility of bowel cancer .
