Stool appearance erratic

Has anyone seen a change in their stools appearance? Like when under stress or experiencing anxiety they become erratic, every day looks different shape, consistency?

Have you had a colonoscopy done?

Yes definitely. I recently experienced this after being on holiday during which I couldn’t go at all and it then took ages to return to normal when I got home. I’m sure worrying about it only makes things worse unfortunately. I had a colonoscopy 8 years ago which was normal. I’m sure things will settle back down for you. It took several weeks after my holiday for me to get back to normal.

Yes had coloscopy diviculitus and ibs poo different every day I have found peppermint tablets prescribed by doctor really help me but every day different

So your colonoscopy only showed diverticulitis and doctor confirmed IBS diagnosis?

My stools are stringy and narrow on and off lately.

Had colonoscopy last Nov and everything was fine. (I had bowel cancer in 2015).I feel concerned as why are my stools like this ? I consider diet is good. Eat properly fruit and veg etc etc.
