colonoscopy
I’ve got to have a
colonoscopy
, with three days of a low fibre diet as part of the preparation. The hospital has given me a list of foods I can eat, but at least half of them aren’t gluten free or the gf equivalent is higher in fibre.

Colonoscopy
I am worried about anesthesia causing exacerbation. The last time I was put under I was out of it for 2 months (according to my husband). I had ill effects 40 years ago with anesthesia also. They have "noted" this but it does not make me feel any less anxious.

Just as a precaution I have needed
colonoscopy
on two separate occasions , one clear one had polys removed. I too had profonol ( excuse the spelling ). It was painless. I met with my consultant and he explained the procedure . I was admitted after a day taking bowel prep, not nice but needed .

Does endoscopy replace colonoscopy?
The reason I'm asking, my doctor did a upper endoscopy on me and told me I didn't need a
colonoscopy
for the next 10 years and it sounded a little off to me. I was under the impression you needed a
colonoscopy
every 5 years. So does endoscopy replace a
colonoscopy
?

Colonoscopy Anxiety
I wouldn’t want to do a
colonoscopy
without going to sleep. Which I’ve heard some people have done. But it sounds very painful

So such a shock, two weeks ago, I record an over 400, positive fit blood test and referral to the 14 day fastrack
colonoscopy
. Just also to add, weight has been falling off me. So today I have had my
colonoscopy
, which was so much easier than I thought, with no pain or discomfort.

abnormal colonoscopy
Hi, wondering has anyone had any CLL cells , particularly neutrophils, cause an ulcer in their colon!! I’m waiting for results, I’m just wondering if my CLL has infiltrated my colon, or could this be something else. I have been on watch and wait for three years, with no treatment yet!!!!! Thank you

Colonoscopy update and thanks
Well I survived! I had sedation and it didn't hurt at all. I agree the worst part was the prep - both the drinking of the foul tasting stuff and the effect it has - Blimey!!!!! Had to wait at bit longer in recovery as I was still unsteady ( I have inner ear dysfunction anyway) and felt travel sick on

Is propofol safe for a colonoscopy with Parkinson’s?
is it safe, or is there a preferred drug for a
colonoscopy
? I’m on rasagiline and sometimes mucuna and carbidopa….and should they be discontinued before? If so, how long before? Thanks!

3 failed coloscopies
Due to the growth of very large polyps one over 2cm I am being asked to have another
colonoscopy
. To say that I am terrified is an understatement. I was told by the consultant 10 years ago that I was a very unsuitable patient for
colonoscopy
due to bowel adhesions and looping.

Hi…so had
