symptoms persist after Covid
I had my last
colonoscopy
about 8 years ago, but woke up with no hearing in one ear. My doctor and I have an agreement that I will do a fecal occult blood test ("stool smear test") every year instead of the
colonoscopy
(I couldn't do another one of those as it would give me extreme anxiety).

Hemorrhoids
I have had hemorrhoid problems for years. Was started on Metamucil, maybe 30 years ago. Stop after awhile couldn’t stand it. Saw a GI doc, recently, who started me on an increased amount a few months ago. No one seems to understand the pain I am in from the hemorrhoids. I will start off the day with

Pre gynaecologist advice
Ive had
colonoscopy
which showed inflammation which they said was normal. All after a lot of stays in hospital with extreme pain only morphine helped with, and what i was told was a kidney infection but on my notes wasn't. I finally convinced them to send me to gynaecology October 2021.

Tired and Drained
I already have BAM, IBS and now I've been told I have a bowel inflamation which may require another
colonoscopy
. I have 5 billion other problems. I was tested for crohn's some time ago (I thought I may have it -re genes) and told that I don't have it.

Stage 4 Prostate Cancer treated with Xtandi- 3 pills & Zolodex; 1.5 yrs diagnosed, now left side pain under ribs
Ultrasound is not definitive but the oncologist is reluctant to do a
colonoscopy
. Has anyone experienced any pain similar? I am periodically taking Advil to relieve the discomfort.

Gastroentrology appointment
Hi Is it normal to get a gastroentrology appointment a few weeks after my
colonoscopy
procedure? I was told I had ulcerative colitis and had several biopsy’s taken now I am worried they have found something else. Any reassuring advice would be appreciated.

Thrombocytosis…..ET? UPDATE
Other tests I’ve had done are an Endoscopy and a
Colonoscopy
, both of which have come back clear. I asked for Iron studies to be done as my Specialist forgot to do them (?!!), I had low Ferritin but not Anemia.

Worried about persistent HPV
Hello, My cervical smears HPV positive result for 5 years. Last year I had low grade cell changes so I was sent for a colposcopy. The consultant did his best to reassure me, took a biopsy and treated the lesion with silver nitrate. My GP was able to access the result before I'd received the letter.

concerned about continuing bleeding
I am scheduled for a
colonoscopy
24th of January, but I’m seriously concerned as two different doctors have done a rectal exam and neither could feel hemorrhoids, but both said that’s what it is likely to be?!

My
colonoscopy
was clear I had 2 tiny polyps that were removed. And I keep being told to eat greens and drink water. Should I go for a second opinion?

Burning
Hi I have burning in the rectal area. I have IBS with constipation. I had 2 colonoscopies within 3 years from 2017-2019 and all good. I was having a uncomfortable pressure gas sensation on my left side above my colon for a long time. That’s why he did the colonoscopies . Then I first experienced burning

Lymphedema after mastectomy & sentinel node biopsy
I had a
colonoscopy
in October and since then I have had a swollen hand ,numb fingers and tingling in my arm. I believe because the IV was placed in my right arm. Has anyone else had an experience like this? or know anything about it? Thanks in advance!

Very low iron at same time as previously controlled rheumatoid arthritis is now very much out of control.
I've had both endoscopy and
colonoscopy
which have not found a possible cause for the anemia but both my GP and rheumatology consultant seem unsure if the uncontrolled RA is a factor.

A little insight requested
I have a
colonoscopy
scheduled for Feb 14. (That’s original). I wish I could get it done sooner so I could atleast put my mind at ease. My stress level has gone through the roof thinking the worse possible scenario.

I just don’t know why the doctors won’t just push for a
colonoscopy
. I even said to the doctor if I was 50 and came in with these symptoms would you refer me quicker? They said absolutely. So why not me? I’m 35 by the way. Sorry for the graphic pictures I just don’t know where to turn now.
