FET, endometriosis and Ulcerative Colitis
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has had experience of IVF/Frozen Embryo transfer as well as having Ulcerative
Colitis
? I’m having my Frozen Embryo transfer (FET) next Friday and have had to ring the hospital today about the Cyclogest pessary, all sorted now! And ready to go !

Old article form The Scientist on gut health & the risk of cancer
Patients with
colitis
-associated cancer also had elevated Toll-like receptor-4 levels, raising the possibility of a novel therapeutic target.

Continuing to struggle with IBS-D and Ulcerative Colitis (IBD) after 15 years
I'm also lactose intolerant and have periodic bouts with ulcerative
colitis
. I tolerate almond milk well as well as chicken, turkey, seafood, quinoa, bananas, mangos, carrots, and green beans.

Week 5 Run 3
Yesterday was my 54th birthday and I have suffered with Ulcerative
Colitis
for 20+ years and exercise is so alien to me. So to anyone who thinks they can’t do it - yes you can. Keep going, you’ll get there

Newly diagnosed with PA but also have history of demyelination - is there a link?
I do need to mention here that four years ago my sister was diagnosed with MS and my brother with ulcerative
colitis
. I know, there has to be some genetic pre-disposition here but what I would give to find a cure – just about anything.

FET day 😊🤞🏻
I’ve been treated with prostap monthly injections to keep endometriosis at bay and also have Ulcerative
Colitis
and am on octasa to control. For this FET I used Buserelin nasal spray , 6mg progynova . Once stopped buserelin stayed on progynova and started delightful Cyclogest pessaries!

Recently diagnosed with ANCA Vasculitis.
On Tuesday I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy to determine the cause of my gi troubles. 3 biopsies were taken and doc said there's a possibility it could be
Colitis
. Today I had a head MIR and will be seeing my consultant in 10 days to discuss results.

Feeling quite low
I now have to wean myself off my azathioprine, which I take for my ulcerative
Colitis
, which they believe has caused this. I’m worried because every time I come off it I end up back on steroids as my ulcerative
colitis
flares right back up.

PA with Stomach problems
My question is, has anyone had an ulcer,
colitis
, IBS ect...? I had a CT scan and it showed a pleural thickening(lesion) right where most of my pain is. I believe my problem is intestinal tho. I go see my primary tom evening and hopefully get some answers.

A note to anyone with Crohn’s,
colitis
, IBS ... I’m dependent on Golden Paste ... for many reasons! It removes pain, inflammation, mood, and without it, life is agony ! If I don’t take it ...I have so much inflammation in my blood .. I have to resort to steroids...

Liver biopsy worries
I've got ulcerative
colitis
and due to raised levels in blood tests they are checking for autoimmune liver disease (related to the IBD). The levels have been down in my last couple of tests which I'm hopeful is a good sign but they want to biopsy just to be sure.

Nodule in my pelvic area
Ulcerative
colitis
with non typical symptoms. Also just been diagnosed with a goitre I can’t see and nodules on my thyroid. I’ve started medication for that this week and waiting for a biopsy. Anyway I had a ct scan on my abdomen in October.

Hyperthyroidism or anxiety?
Hi, I have Ulcerative
colitis
but not typical symptoms. I don’t have pain nor diarrhoea. I also have IBSC and following a fodmap diet which helps. I started sertraline for anxiety 6 weeks ago with terrible side effects then one gp sent me to an endocrinologist.

Really need advice on self injecting
As far as I was concerned problem solved. 2013: Continued self injecting regularly with no problems, however my stomach problems did flare up a couple of times this year (could be underlying reason for not absorbing -

What is going on with my body? Is it Thyroid or am I just losing the plot!
When I was 18 yrs old I was diagnosed with Ulcerative
Colitis
and hospitalised many times on high dosages of steriods but thankfully have had long periods of remission. 14 yrs ago I caught Glandular Fever but this time it had affected my liver and was hosptialised and treated.

Sertraline
I suffer from ulcerative
colitis
and IBS constipation. Because of that, my gp prescribed sertraline 50mg. The past 3 weeks have been awful because of side effects and anxiety attacks. I have been following this group and a lot of the posts put my mind at rest. Getting slightly better.
