As mentioned in both of your identical threads, you need thyroid antibodies testing. If you have a diagnosed underactive thyroid and are on Levothyroxine, the most likely reason for your suppressed TSH and high FT4 is an antibody attack, so you need your thyroid antibodies testing to see if you have autoimmune thyroid disease aka Hashimoto's.
This is the first posting on here and it’s stupid to show 2 “identical threads” when I clicked edit and added the ranges, has that produced another thread? Im lost on this site.. I’ll get the antibodies checked thank you ever so much for you time helping
Doc told me yesterday to stop Levo completely and wait for another 2 weeks for another BT to see what my levels are then? But what do I do in the meantime as 2 weeks things could get worse?
If you click on your user name it will take you to your profile page and show all your previous posts. POSTS show threads you have started, you currently have 3 - this one and the two others, and REPLIES show all replies you have made to any threads
Earlier today with 1 reply and this is the one you added the ranges to, editing that post wouldn't have produced this post as a duplicate (as you can see there are no ranges in this one).
I'm not gluten free so I can't help there other than to say the easiest way is to prepare all your food yourself, avoid packaged food and read any labels. There are many members here who are gluten free so if you make a new post asking about gluten free diet they will help.
But of course, it would be sensible to get thyroid antibodies tested first tinder if you are Hashi's. There are two types - Thyroid Peroxidase and Thyroglobulin and you would need both testing.
Selenium is not prescribed by doctors as far as I know.
I don't know if your hands shaking is anything to do with the Levo. It could be that you are still overmedicated and it's a symptom of that, and when your FT4 comes back into range maybe that symptom will resolve.
Hiya, I don’t take any meds before my BTs and I have them around 8-8.45am on an empty tummy to give true readings. These readings was just that, in the morn with empty belly. My cortisol level is 57 btw, but I assume my pred steroids is suppressing that.
