Paper showing increased need for thyroxine with parients with ulcerative colitis
Therefore, ulcerative
colitis
, even during clinical remission, should be included among the gastrointestinal causes of an increased need for oral thyroxine.

Just a idea b12
I suffer from indeterminate
colitis
, stomach ulcers, gallstones. I have underactive thyroid, fibromyalgia and asthma. I retired early as was getting too much. The reason I’m writing this is that for a VERY long time I have felt extremely ill and started to also get heart palpitations.

Constipation!!!!
I have been taking Budesinide for microscopic
colitis
, and it's working alright...I am now constipated. I had horrific diarhoea and ended up in hospital for two days suffering from dehydration. I feel so much better now, but am not sure what to do about constipation.

Hello, For the last few months I have noticed I have a persistent tickly cough which seems to arrive before and during a flare. Recently I have a had a cough for 4 weeks which has increased with a very nasty flare in the last few days. I was wondering whether anyone else found this, whether there is

Curious to know...
It turns out I have a bad case of
Colitis
(never have had this before) and Humira is the apparent culprit. I'm still in the hospital, on antibiotics and with much trial and mostly error, I have gotten ahead of both my belly pain and RA pain. I'm not sure what will be next.

PMR and starting Pred
So My GP thinks I have pmr and so do I. I am not taking prednisone until the end of the month as we are trying CBD oil first (have since read it doesn’t really help for pmr). So far CBD hasn’t touched my pain. My question is this. Earlier in the week I was so sore. Needed to go clothes shopping and I

Treatment with Tofacitinib Helps Relieve Arthritis and Rash Symptoms in Lupus Patients, Study Shows
The medicine also has been approved to help manage inflammation in adults with ulcerative
colitis
, another chronic inflammatory condition. It blocks the activity of certain janus kinases (JAK) enzymes, which are critical for the activity of the immune system.

If cancer has spread beyond the prostate, is RP best first treatment option?
He was suffering from
colitis
and the PSA was an unexpected part of getting him on the path for that treatment. Biopsy finally done in February 2019 showed cancer in 11 of 12 spots, one with 4+3 GS7. Bone scan and CAT scan were negative.

Waiting for biopsy report.
The Dr took 12 biopsies, and said I have mild
colitis
. I asked him if he found any cancer he said no. However I still feel worried, even though on my written report he said endoscopically this could be crohns or
colitis
. Why did he take so many biopsies?

Personal question
I was just diagnosed with microscopic
colitis
. I have a bowel movement question and the color. It seems to be light colored. Is this normal for a newly diagnosis

Unsure what’s causing it, recent diagnosed with
colitis
so may be condition or medication. Anyone anything similar? And wondering about can I drink alcohol with this? Obviously being pregnant previously alcohol is not related to my increased levels and I wouldn’t be a big drinker

Also how effective has this been in treating your ulcerative
colitis
? his consultant has hinted this is a last resort and if it fails it will mean a colectomy so he's keen for good results. thanks
