Miserable

I had forgot to put in my first post a had a fecal transplant about a month and half ago to get rid of the cdiff I had almost two years. I was the first person a UAMS in Little Rock to ever have one it got rid of the cdiff but the damage was already done. I live in the restroom all the time. I have been on all kinds of meds ,I have about went broke eating all these special diets nothing helps me. I have even asked my dr to take my dam colon at this point he gives me some excuse everytime. I am on lomtial3×2 and a severe depression med calleddoxepin and xanax for anxiety. I finally going to see the social security disability dr for my back pay at work those almost 2years i was contagious with cdiff and I was a food/grocery mgr at Walmart. Would have done seen the dr but had to reschedule that cause I was contagious with cdiff. SSI Is making me see a physical dr and a mental one so hopefully this won't be a headache because I have seen 5 drs in 2 years 4 of them specialists and each one said something different but. I sent in almost 400 pages of test results dr notes everything even when I got admitted to the hospital and my stomach got real big and swollen. Fingers crossed. I wouldn't wish what I have been through on my w outs enemy. Go back in June for 4 or 5 colonoscopie I have had my dr thinks it might be uclertive colitis so pray for me GOD BLESS

So sorry to hear your dreadful story - you really have had a truly miserable time. My son has ulcerative colitis (badly) and it is managed with medication so there is hope. I know how discouraging it is when you try everything and nothing works, but keep focusing on being well even because people do get better. I hope your colonoscopy sheds some light on what's going on in your gut and that you get the diagnosis you need. I don't know if it's of any help but my son tried the SCD diet (no diet had ever worked for him) and it has made a significant difference to his UC. You might want to check it out. Good wishes.
