wrong tablets
I have just taken my husbands tablets by mistake. I should have taken Entresto, Bisoprolol, and edixaban. Instead I have taken 5mg Amlodipine, 20mg atorvastatin and tamsulosin hydrochloride. Doctors closed holiday weekend as is Blood Failure clinic. What should I do?

3 Failed Ablations
Hi Everyone I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Afib in September 2019, ( I wasn’t aware I had it as it the symptoms were vey mild) the Consultant recommended Bisoprolol but also put me on the waiting list for an Ablation, the Bisoprolol didn’t agree with me as I am a keen mountain biker and it was like

Fitbit & Kardia disagree ….
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this, last night around 11.30pm I felt my heart misbehave for the first time since my ablation pre-covid. A run of very strong fast beats then fast & erratic. I tried relaxing for a while playing a game on my phone to occupy my mind, but the rate & rhythm

Flecainide
Was everyone who has been prescribed flecainide monitored when they first started taking it? I've just been discharged from A & E with a prescription for flecainide to start taking immediately. I had the two part myocardial stress test 3 months ago.I've been prescribed 50 mg twice a day but told

change from bisoprolol to sotalol
Has anyone changed from bisoprolol to Sotalol? I’ve been on 1.25 bisoprolol for a few years. After wearing a holter monitor for 7 days I met with an EP for the first time and he recommended I change to 80mg Sotalol to see if it stops my monthly (on average) 11 hour + AF episodes. I usually take flecanide

Shock diagnosis and 4 week wait for "Rapid Access" Heart Failure Clinic. Is my Anxiety justified?
Two weeks ago I went for a stress echo test. It was a real shock. After a preliminary echo the test was abandoned. Serious faces and mutterings all round ensued, and a cardiologist came in, studied the screen and told me I had heart failure! She advised me not to go on my planned holiday till I'd seen

Bisoprolol and Digoxin
I’ve just been prescribed digoxin to take alongside the Bisoprolol which I’ve been taking for ten weeks months. I’ve been prescribed digoxin today because despite increasing the Bisoprolol to 12.5mg, my heart rate is still too high at 136 bpm. I was diagnosed with AFib in July. I’ve been reading about

Hi all, I've suffered episode's of AF for the last ten years or so, currently on 10mg Bisoprolol and 10 mg Apixaban, episode usually lasts for 22hrs or so.Last appointment with the cardiologist was three weeks ago whereby they suggested I should get a new pair of glasses and look at life differently

bnp level high, breathlessness and fluid in lungs. What does this mean?
hello everyone. I have posted relatively frequently, most recently because my weight loss surgery was cancelled due to high heart rate(120-130) in persistent af and breathlessness. The gp gave me additional bisoprolol which brought hr down to about 90. Breathlessness has continued, possibly due to

Increased Heart Rate
When I was first diagnosed as having AF I felt pretty bad. My heart rate was never very fast, typical resting heart rate was around 80bpm but I’ve been on beta blockers for years. I did though frequently feel light headed, tired etc. Then I had a cardioversion and felt great. Heart rate came back down

Never rains but it......
Little update on me, feeling tiny bit better past cpl days as upped bisoprolol bedtime dose to 2.5 so slept a little more without noticeable palps, Gp says Bisopropol is better to control heart but not as good as my previous med of propanolol for the anxiety symptoms, interesting and helpful to knowBUT

My anxiety is getting to me!
So since my last post a couple of week ago I thought things were getting a bit better. My meds and therapy were getting on top of my anxiety and I thought the bisoprolol was keeping my heart in check whilst waiting for my CT Angiogram( 29th). I'd been discharged by my Private Cardio following a normal
