bisoprolol
hi Matt. I’ve been on bisoprolol since my stent in October 2019x cardiologist cut the dose down to 1.25?as I felt so ghastly. But I react badly to all drugs! I had horrendous nightmares. So perhaps a lower dose? x

Undiagnosed: Likely stress cardiomyopathy, MINOCA
I'm in my mid fifties and had an ACS event about four weeks ago (chest pain radiating in a band around my chest and back, weird electrical feelings down both brachial arteries) with raised troponin (100, raising to 1000) and spent four days in hospital. EGC showed inverted T on the bottom line of the

partners mood changed on Bisoprolol
So, April 2nd 2004 my partner took her first Bisoprolol tablet to control her heart flutters. After a week of taking it she was having panic attacks, feeling anxious, foggy head and looked doped up to the eyeballs. She then said she needed to be on her own and not in the relationship to sort herself

Bisoprolol and insomnia
Hi, 1st time posting! New to the forum. Please can I ask if anyone has struggled with insomnia since taking Bisoprolol? I have been taking it for 3 years now and my sleep hasn’t been brilliant, I have young children so have attributed lack of sleep to them (10m and 3 years when I 1st went on it)

Flaxseed
Hi there, Been listening to Michael Mosley podcast and benefits of flaxseed. I am taking 90mg ticegrelor, 1.25mg bisoprolol and Aspirin 75mg. Had NStemi 6 months ago and stent fitted. My BP is quite low but considered good. Apparently on a big trial flaxseed didnt reduce BP in those that had low BP

Bisoprolol
Hi, how long does it take the body to be completely rid of Bisoprolol? I’ve been on 2.5mg daily for about four years for ectopic beats. My doctor has now taken me off it.

Bisoprolol
I have been diagnosed as having ventricular ectopic beats an 1st degree heart block. Despite this I am fit and usually very active. I have been taking 1.25 mg for 2 weeks and am noticing the following: - intense hunger shortly after taking the tablet - general fatigue and malaise - disturbed sleep

I started in AF last week and after 5 days of AF I have now gone into a regular high heart rate for the past 2 days. Under the instruction of the arrhythmia nurse I have increased my bisoprolol but it doesn’t seem to helping much. I have an appointment on Wednesday to discuss treatment plan while I

I'm in the process of finding out which blood thinner is best for me. Started with bisoprolol 1.25mg twice daily and feeling ill so have changed to Edoxaban causing cold hands and feet and breathlessness. I feel that my Cardiologist hasn't taken into consideration my other health conditions, i.e. Asthma

Ablation
Hi, I know there are many articles around Ablation on here which i will look over... I had my cardiologist appointment yesterday following a 7 day heart monitor as my PAF had become more regualar. I am on 200mg a day flecanide and 1.25mg bisoprolol. Cardiologist suggest ablation is potentially the route

AFib for past 4 days
Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced being in AFib for longer than a day? And does it revert back? Usually I return to sinus rhythm If I’m only in AF for a few hours or a day but this time it’s been 4 days. Fortunately I don’t have any symptoms like I usually have apart from not being

I’m currently on 2.5 Bisoprolol but find I feel very drained of energy, it’s like walking through treacle especially in the mornings, I’ve asked to reduce to 1.25 but now I’m feeling a bit scared that my paroxysmal AF might start again. Has anyone reduced to this low dose and found it OK. I take other
