Hi good morning just replying to blood pressure 173/ 93 !
Depending on age in my humble Non
Medical view I would not worry long term in a Rise to this Level.
Additionally in my Experience ( 83 years now)
You should try taking Blood Pressure 3 Times
a Day Morning is normally higher and you would possibly see a lower reading say mid Day . But the process can be a long time in
Getting it correct normally by adding more
Tablets I’m on Ramipril 10 mg Bisoprolol 5 mg
and more recently added 2.5 mg Frlodine slow release. These keep my BP at a good level when taking readings remain seated and relaxed for 5 Minutes Prior. Take deep breaths as well .
I had Palpitations for about 15 years which
we’re on and off but 3 years + I developed
Full AF but cured now completely after
2 Cardio Versions ( no good ) and 2 a year apart Cardio Ablation at Royal Brompton in
Chelsea all on NHS bless them.
All fine no repeats of AF nearly 2 Years in
August .
Hope you find a good result when your Doctor
responds

I too was cleared of AF by Dr Clague at RBHT. Great hospital.
You are absolutely right John and I wonder if that picture of you with what looks like Liz Truss has contributed to your high blood pressure 😂
I think you are referring to the two posts sent in by Jezzard which was a bit concerning because they followed in quick succession. We were suggesting they got proper medical help quickly because the more stressed they became, the higher their blood pressure was likely to become. It would be good to hear from jezzard just to be sure everything is now OK.
You look after yourself too, us Olduns need to stick together and I’m only 76 😉
