Overdosing bisoprolol- can anyone offer advice?
I don’t know whether it is where I live ( the NW) but I really struggle to get appropriate treatment. Anyway I picked up my meds on Saturday. Opened them in the car and noticed my bisoprolol was suddenly in 5 mg tablets not 2.5 mg. I went back into the pharmacy to be told that I have been on 5 mg tablets

more about stopping aspirin temporarily
saw my cardiologist yesterday. He took me off bisoprolol — said my heart rate was too slow — and Ticagrelor. Have stopped both, with trepidation re the bisoprolol. He also said he was not keen on me stopping aspirin as he didn’t want my stents to clog up. I pointed out that the advice on this forum was

ATRIAL FIBRILLATION DIAGNOSIS
ok, so I have always had palpitations of some sort through most of my life. Over the last year or two they have changed and become more frequent. After seeing my GP and a Cariologist, I have been diagnosed with Paroxysmal AF. I have had an echocardiogram and all is well. I have therefore been given

Could I stop taking Rivaoxaban?
I’ve been on Flecainide, Bisoprolol and Rivaoxaban now for 5 years and have a pacemaker, my heart is in sinus rhythm at 60bpm. I understand that Rivaoxaban is to help prevent blood clots forming, but as my AF is now managed could I stop taking it? I get frequent gum bleeds despite excellent oral hygiene

AFib and Cardioversion
I have been in permanent Afib since May 23 and after adjusting to Bisoprolol have managed to maintain a reasonable lifestyle walking and running most days albeit a little slower at times. Echocardiogram report
I’ve just received a report following my echocardiogram. It mentions left ventricle systolic impairment with mild AR, mild MS, mild MR and mild to moderate TR. I’ve googled the terminology but not sure whether I should be worried or not. ACE inhibitor has been added to my Bisoprolol and Digoxin. I have

Hypo type episode on Dapaglaflozin/Forxiga, and Spironolactone, while waiting for a pacemaker upgrade. Advice anyone?
I felt sweaty and shaky after skipping breakfast this morning, and looking at the leaflet for Dapaglaflozin, I see one of the side effects is to cause low blood sugar levels. It's a diabetes drug which has been found to help with Heart Failure patients. It makes you pee away blood sugar. So I ate some

Worsening AF
Had my covid booster Thursday and yesterday evening AF started, continued most of night, and has stopped mid morning. I didn’t have symptoms, other than being aware of my abnormal heartbeat. It was mor abnormal than usual. It has been more frequent recently and I am seeing a cardio through Benenden,

Another antigoagulant question
Hello. A year ago I had painless thyroiditis which sent me into Afib and I remained in Afib constantly for 5 months for which I was on bisoprolol and an anticoagulant. I was then put on an anti arrhythmia meds at the time the thyroid cleared up and was soon back in NSR. That was last March. Since then

Does anyone else have depression/low mood at times? My knee ( OA bone on bone ) is giving me no rest with pain at the moment and am waking up through the night. It’s now beginning to cause pain on the right knee as well as am putting more pressure on it. My Rheum Arthritis seems stable just now as
