Very belated intro
I've had rls since I was in my teens. I'm now 66 years old. About 6-7 years ago, I was finally diagnosed with RLS, and given a medication that I can't recall the exact name of, but it was something like lebadopa carbadopa?? Anyway, that worked very well for me at first, but after a few months it would

Progress is being made!
Good morning everyone, I apologize in advance. I've let too much time go by without sharing needed updates. Due to the amazing feedback, I have received from this forum, MANY changes have been made in a short time and I'm truly in awe at the results so far. Last night I was reviewing and consolidating

Has anyone here had the experience of taking meds for ADHD while trying to keep blood pressure under control?
Hi, I'm new here and recently diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type). I'm almost 40 and never took any stimulants. I also suffer from anxiety and depression and have high blood pressure (which I think is related to my anxiety). I've been taking Sertraline for depression and Hydrochlorothiazide for hypertension

SPIRONOLACTONE 25 MG TABLET
Can anyone please tell me if spironolactone interferes with RLS? If so, are there any other b/p meds that can be a good substitute? I'm already taking HCTZ and lisinopril.

Warning Signs Before My Cardiac Arrests
Hi -- after I posted the description of my 4 cardiac arrests, a couple people asked for more details, like what early symptoms or warnings I had. So here goes. In the year before my cardiac arrests in July of 2018 I was awoken 4 times with breathing difficulties. I simply couldn't catch my breath

Bisoprolol effects
my cardiologist has taken me off Bisoprolol, with dramatic effects ! This might help others. 18 months ago, I was put on 5 mg and it made me feel awful emotionally, and dizzy, and I had a tendency to fall over. They reduced it to 2.5 mg, which was okay, but I noticed when I go out running I can only

I'm on bisoprolol 1.25 once a day for skipped beats. I have had two heart surgeries one fallot tetralogy one for pulmonary valve replacement. Does anyone experience more skipped beats or flutters when they have a cold etc?

How often and what time of day do you take Bisoprolol?
I think I've been taking my dosage incorrectly, I've been taking it every 12 hours, vs everything I've read says once a day. Just wondering what others do and if once a day do they take it at night or in the morning? regards, Greg

eventful week
Had my invasive angiogram 10 days ago. Good news is that I have no microvascular disease. Other news is that I do have a myocardial bridge which is actually quite small and not what causes my angina. This is caused by a tortuous artery next to the bridge. Under acetylcholine, the tortuous artery releases

Concerned for my wife who has severe heart failure and alcohol abuse problems...
My wife is a "functioning alcoholic" (as well as workaholic and shopaholic!) She is 71 and has had atrial fibrillation for many years and type 1 diabetes for much of her adult life. When I realised that her drinking was doing her harm I tried everything I could do to help her. I stopped drinking over

Good afternoon. I take 50mg Flecainide morning and night. 1.25mg Bisoprolol mornings. 4mg Candesartan mornings and 20mg Xeralto at night. Heart rate is usually on the low side of normal even without Bisoprolol. Two years ago when I started these drugs the recommended dose of Bisoprolol was 5mg and

Slow irregular and missed heart beats
My husband has been on Ramipril for 14 years, together with bisoprolol, aspirin, atorvastatin and Famotidine, without any side effects. However, 3 months ago, he started to have episodes of a slow irregular heart beat around 40 - 45 beats a minute with missing beats. The first 2 visits to A&E a week
