Trouble with anxiety meds today.
They can take up to 3 weeks or even longer to work. Something the sufferer doesn't want to hear at a time when they are having these awful feelings. Diazepam or Valium are fantastic and can work very fast but sadly taking them after a few days or even the next day will not have the same desired effect

Living with Restless Legs
I have been living with restless legs since the age of 14. It began after having flu. Over the years it was mild only happening about four or five times a year - not pleasant, but livable with. Five years ago it got much worse and now I have it all the time, in both my legs and arms. I take pramipexole

Please help me find treatment in NYC area.
It seems insane, but I've only been referred to two psychiatrists in the NYC area. Dr.Daniel Williams is self-pay, and Dr. Mark Groves is on medical leave for another month and I can't even speak to anyone at his office. I have been having severe episodes of jaw tremors that began after a crippling

I am still shaking trembling inside.
I still haven't gotten over that asthma attack either that or my nerves are getting stretched again and cant cope with the littlest thing. I didn't sleep last night and here I am again wide awake after taking Valium chewed a bit of skunk and took my mirtazapine. I also found out my son has a daughter

Severe Anemia, Now got aching legs and short of breath?
Just wondering if anyone can help? I visited my GP last year as I was feeling tired, no energy, pains in stomach, coughing, and being sick. I was told that I needed to have a blood transfusion as my Haemoglobin was 67 and Serum Ferritin was 1. I walked into A&E no problem and received 2 units of blood

Sleeping Problems
Hi. I wanted to know if anyone had some good tips for sleeping well? My quality of sleep is not good most nights. I am trying to come off the last bits of Valium I've been taking but am finding I wake feeling anxious most mornings. I am also on Mirtazapine anti-depressant which does help a bit. I like

Stressed beyond belief
Hey everyone, I've got myself in a pickle at the worst time possible. This is kind of linked with my hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue so please forgive the random tangent I go on as I explain. This is to do with the adrenal fatigue and panic and stress that comes with being hypo (I'm on NDT, DHEA

Rheumatoid Vasculitis & Epsom Salts
Hi all, I am currently having a bad flare and have been told that bath with Epsom Salts is a good way to relieve aches and pains. Has anyone else heard of this and, I know it sounds stupid, will it muck about with my meds?? Thanks :)

Virus asthma and fed up
Hi there I'm getting increasingly frustrated. My asthma consultant has said I have GORD, verified by scan I had for clot on the lung six months ago. She thinks I don't have asthma. Yet yesterday had an attack, wheezing coughing short of breath. Had to ring 999, who were great. After 10 puffs of ventolin

CBD
Evenin all. This is my first time posting. My mum's been diagnosed with CBD about 6 months ago and has probably had it the last 2 years. We had a stair lift fitted but with her cognitive issues she is really struggling to use it. She is fine walking up the stairs but struggling coming down. It seems

Please help me make sense of this
So I posted last night about my anxiety. I literally do not have any idea what happened. I couldnt sleep and I was watching a shownon Netflix. I cannot remember but I think the show ended and I dosed off or I got up to use the restroom. I went back to my bedroom and layed down and felt a jolt as if something

Antioxidants Halt Axonal Degeneration in a Mouse Model of X-Adrenoleukodystrophy
This was dated 2011, but it is news to me Out of desperation more than anything else I ordered some bulk antioxidant powders last year. NAC, Vitamin C, a slew of B vitamins, Centrophenoxine, coenzyme Q10. All sorts. My reasoning was that it couldn't possibly do any more harm than mother nature had

Hello everyone, I have been on Predisolone since 28th October (20mg a day) recently dropped to 15mg. I have my first rheumy appointment at my local hospital on Tuesday and wondered what sort of questions I should ask please? I believe from what I have read and my symptoms that I have PMR. Back and

Rectal muscle spasm
Hi! I am suffering from what appears to be a rectal muscle spasm. I have extreme pain following a BM sometimes lasting up to 8 hours. Lying down is the only thing to take the edge off the pain. In desperation I had Botox injected in November. I seemed worse following the Botox procedure but was told
