Quietly, I started taking it every 3 weeks but only a small amount, I would insert needle, count 2 then withdraw it. After a few months I noticed that my body was coping

Various symptoms.....Hypothyroidism?
Hi everyone, I've been feeling unwell for a few months (well, more like over 2 years), but symptoms have worsened in the past few months. These include: joint pain/soreness and stiffness (bones feel tender to touch, mainly upper back, breastbone, arms, shoulder blade) severe and worsening acid reflux

Should I avoid liquid iron supplement with iodine in?
I have very low ferritin and was prescribed ferrous sulphate by GP (200mg x 3 a day) but I wanted to try a liquid one from natural food sources - some seem to have a very low level of iron (such as 15mg!) there seems to be a good one called 'Virginian organic liquid iron' from Victoria Health https:/

Is this alchalasia??
Hi my name is Denise. On April 25 of this year I started developing issues with swallowing and in a matter of days I couldn't swallow that well. Solid food would get stuck and liquids come back up. I saw a gastroenterologist on May 10 and had an Endoscopy and a modified barium swallow done and both came

Hi The above quote is from my endo to GP. Everyone was so helpful when I posted a few weeks ago re: my endo stopping my levothyroxine & ferrous sulphate for 8 weeks. It is now five and a half weeks and I am feeling pretty grim. Thanks to this forum, I have had new blood test results from MediCheck:

How do we get any diagnosis
We lived in Western Australia with our 3 children, when we asked for my son to be tested for autism/ aspergers after nearly 12 months we managed to get a appointment with a paediatrician who said he's not autistic as he doesn't tick all the boxes, sent to see physiologist, yet we still had no real label. Now

Magnesium levels and epsom salts
Hi, my mum's magnesium and sodium levels have been quite low the last few blood tests and she's taking magnesium supplements. However, I was wondering if anyone else has had low magnesium and what you did to help this. I read that bathing in epsom salts is a natural way for the body to soak up magnesium

acid reflux
Hi there, I had an oesophagectomy 3 years ago. I take Lanzoprazole 30mg twice daily. I am having the most vile acid reflux, it wakes me up and then I am unwell for 2 - 3 days afterwards. I have had a barium swallow, and a chest x-ray, nothing was found on these. Has anyone any tips for stopping the acid

My anxiety disorder started in the 19th. Century.

Crippling anxiety
Hello, I'm new here and struggling immensely. I am under the care of a psychologist and psychiatrist but feel so horrible. Back in February I had an adverse reaction to a cosmetic Botox injection. It started the day after, in which I felt like I couldn't get a breath of air in, then diarrhea, vomiting
