Dont even joke about trying to confuse me: HITU/BIRU/HWB take your pick which one is it
when you miss a call from southmead hospital about 2 secs late, you call them
back
you think it's to do with you brain
injury
appointment next week and the outpatient receptionist has no idea who called so hangs up so you call biru instead of southmead and they pass to over to another outpatient receptionist

Off the IC ...Yeeha :) but cautious return
My plan is to spend the next 2 weeks getting
back
to where I was pre-
injury
so if all goes well should then start ju-ju's 10k plan. It felt so good to run last night even if it was just a little one. Now just need to be patient (sorry what does that mean) and all will be well. :) :)

Feeling jittery and anxious could this be due to Pred reduction
Hello this is the first I've asked anything but I want you all to know I've learnt a lot from you all and I'm very thankful for all the advice I've received on this site. Thank you. I just tapered down from 11mg to 10mg Pred last Saturday and I'm feeling very shaky (jittery) could this be withdrawel

Work related

put end to that after one week! Restarted in mid March. Started again, completed week one and 2. First week in April catch some nasty chest bug! Took a few weeks off running, stuck to some “boot camp” sessions (already paid for!) instead.

Week one complete can I get back to racing fitness
I've tried several come backs but the
injury
has always come
back
. I decided to try the C25K program in a hope that I will take it easy and not trigger the injury again. I'm finding it hard to rest as I used to run most days of the week, but I think rest days are just as important as running days.

FINISHED Week 3!
Finally got
back
to where I was before my ankle
injury
! and no pain from said ankle! Only problem is, my knees are actually pretty sore. Have any of you got any tips for sore knees? I mean I'm overweight; 183cm/6ft - 103kg/16'3" so that may be it but christ I've never had sore knees before.

Week 5 Run 1 – My first setback
Essentially it’s not the run or the distance that’s the problem, I got my first
injury
.
Back
and hip pain to be precise. I had to quit during the middle of the third 5 minute run. On returning home I could barely walk up the stairs.

Week 5 - trip to the Osteopath!
But now mid week 5 I have developed a 'twinge/hurt' in my right glute / spreading to lower
back
a wee bit. To prevent
injury
I went to see my Osteopath who recommended no running for 1 week, stretches & rest to prevent
injury
. Then try going
back
to week 4 to repeat.

Help with sleep
My husband has PSP, diagnosed about 18 months ago. He has a terrible time sleeping. He currently takes 100 mg trazodone and wakes up multiple times each night. We tried seroquel and that affected him all day, and he did not sleep well with it. I need my sleep, but I cannot take meds because I am

W3R2 Rest Days?
I’m the sort of person that hates stopping things once I’ve started so I was really paranoid about having to rest more than the recommended 1 day, thinking I’ll probably have to go
back
to the beginning ☹️ So in a way my
injury
hopefully has helped me be more reasonable with myself 🙂 All part of the

First sub 30 min 5k for ages
Finally did a 5k in under 30 mins after about 9 months recovering and then building
back
stamina and speed following a hamstring
injury
. If you think you are injured, PLEASE take it slowly. I thought I was taking it easy, but after repeat injuries I realised my notion of slowly was not slow enough.

Where to re start?
so ive not been able to run for the last six weeks due to a knee
injury
. Been given the ok to start
back
up but my question is where do i pick up the program from.? My last run was several minutes in W6R1 when my knee went night night, up until then it had been going pretty good.

Parkinson's Induced Overuse Injury: Lower Back And Inner Thigh
I noticed there have been quite a few posts here by people having back problems. Of course back problems are commonplace. Be that as it may, I have had troublesome stiffness in my lower back for some months, and I have been wondering why. I realized (yo duh) this is because I am bending forward at

Acceptable Rise in B-12 Levels?
My issues began in early January with a
back
injury
and progressed to pain in other areas. Oddly, it was my physical therapist that suggested B-12 as it was not on my GP's radar. I was prescribed monthly injections of 1000 MCG Cyanocobalamin and daily sublingual 1000 MCG.

Advice needed - should i stop?
However I've been experiencing some hip pain which has radiated into my lower
back
. It's not an
injury
just muscle tightness. So I've been for a massage this morning & been told to have a few weeks off!! I don't want to stop I'm so close to graduating. Experienced runners - what should I do?

Post concussion symptoms coming and going
I was seen in the hospital a few days after the
injury
and they did a ct scan which came
back
clear. So I felt lot better after a week and then it flared up again after having my hair done for couple days. I then felt fine no symptoms.

Anyone else running the Frome 5k on 15th July??
I entered thinking I would finish the programme a couple of weeks before but due to
injury
my plans have been put
back
. All being well though I should now complete C25K the week before this run, so this is what I’m aiming for 😊. It’s W4 R2 for me tomorrow.

Arm ache and some neck discomfort
Now 2 years after diagnosis I am on 3mg Pred daily for the last several months. I always feel that 'this is not the best time to reduce'. As I explained before - I am a full time carer for my husband - which brings its own stress. My question is....I had a sore neck (towards left side/ not stiff and

2nd 10K done - but I was slower 😲
There's actually a longer way round that involves a gentle slope; I'll use that next time because there was no way having done about 9.5k that I was capable of running down the steps without
injury
! One last hump-backed canal bridge, and nearly
back
to where I started.
