Hi everyone, i am currently taking esbriet, i got up to max dose of 3 tablets 3x a day but couldn`t cope with them and papworth took me back down to 2 tablets 3x a day, i am having some issues with these tablets which i expect but the reason why i am writing this is because i`m feeling very deppresed and having some anger problems, my head feels full of stress, is there anyone taking these tablets who may be having the same sort of problems as me? before taking these tablets i am a easy going person happy go lucky type of guy so wondering if it`s the tablets or the IPF affecting me. Thanks For Listening,

So sorry to hear you're going through this dark patch kimmi9 . I haven't taken those tablets myself so I'm not about to comment from experience. Usually when I get meds these days, they come with an information leaflet which includes a list of side effects. If you still have yours, you could try checking that. All the best.
It will pass by if you persevere with dose as PERFENIDONE is the only drug which controls progress of disease. I remember my husband used to be very irritable when he was on optimum dose , but with some encouragement he continued on full dose & now after 6 years of continued medication he feels like a new person
Have faith let PERFENIDONE continue to fight your disease
