Coming back after injury - what now?

Advice needed please :)

I reached and completed W7 R1 and then a big chap stomped on my foot on the packed tube and fractured the head of my first metatarsal. It was jolly painful and meant I could barely walk, so no running. Ok now after 6 weeks, but what do I do about C25k? Can I restart at W6R1 or do I have to start at W1 again?

You certainly don’t need to restart the whole thing. Make sure you go gently at the start of your next run, test that injury is fully healed. You won’t have lost too much fitness, you may be able to continue where you were, but the run you’re suggesting would certainly let you know where you are at.

Thanks so much! I am so happy to hear that - I'll start there and see how the foot is.
