CORONA VIRUS / COVID-19/SARS COV-2 And Some Potential Help
This seems like a good time to start a thread discussing the latest developments regarding SARS COV-2 / Corona Virus(CV-19). Given that it seems to move quickly to new areas that were previously unaffected, being as prepared as is reasonably possible seems to make sense, but is there really a good way

Injury not sure what week to start back at.
Hi I seemed to have an issue with my ankle. I'm on week 4 and currently am on day 5 of rest ☹ I used to run but everytime i keep trying i get an injury. The muscles around my ankle give a sharp pain going up my leg this time. Should I wait until its completely gone or go back to week 2. Any input would

As with anyone coming
back
from
injury
, I will have to be cautious and keep my own counsel of making sure that progress is slow and steady, rebuilding my strength and stamina and resisting the urge to chase pbs, which will probably become a thing of the past.

Better run today
You’ve just built
back
up from illness. You don’t want an
injury
from being impatient”. So I stopped and walked home again. Really felt good this morning though. Legs weren’t so heavy , breathing was good. I think the extra day of rest helped and a couple of good sleeps.

Imposter syndrome..... 🙃
I am in the post graduation/consolidation phase, but back to running intervals rather than consolidating as I ease
back
in to my running after
injury
. It feels a little like going backwards.......

Well that was tough 😬
I have just returned to straight runs after doing intervals post
injury
, building them up now so I get
back
to 30 minutes. Today’s extra minute (26) felt a huuuge jump from Sunday’s run of 25 minutes!! I know it’s not, but I felt I had been running forever.

W4R1 did it!
I came from a bad
injury
a few years
back
(broken ankle and three surgeries) so was very unfit and very wary about hurting myself, when set out. The first two weeks were really difficult for me, but it does get easier. Please do reach out if you need a little support.

Tinnitus spikes

Doctors recommend to go to emergency Hospitals for intravenous injection of stedon (Valium ) which now I am addicted to. Is there someone with

Back off the couch - slowly
I'm coming
back
from
injury
and feeling unfit, but my physio has given me the go-ahead to start running again. Back in November I was running regularly and building up to 10k when my left foot suddenly became too painful to run on, and my right hip was painful too.

Pleurodesis?
I had a chance to speak with my doctor today for the follow-up to the thoracentesis. I was told that I am now at stable disease. I had the second thoracentesis in six weeks with another 1.1 liters pulled out. My treatment options are pretty slim as if right now. I'd never originally responded to first

having one’s replies switched off
I was unaware I’d committed a contravention(!) and extremely relieved the only punishment was to have my replies switched off! If we’re splitting hairs about what constitutes natural, the only additives in the products prescribed to me by Dr Peatfield are: Each capsule contains: Bovine Thyroid Gland

Magnesium Malate
I currently have Fibromyalgia as well as other illnesses... Ostioarthritis, and an underactive Thyroid. I have read that Magnesium Malate is good for Fibromyalgia and wondered if anyone else has any experience of it they could share with me please, do I or don't I?

Two licks of the lollipop! (Buckingham Parkrun)
I haven't done a Parkrun since mid November, due to a combination of awful weather, closures, and a
back
injury
sustained while raking up leaves. My local parkrun (Abingdon) did take place, but the photos posted on Thursday looked direly muddy so I really didn't fancy slithering round it.
