Back from injury
I'm back after a month off with injured knee. I went to a podiatrist n bought some £50 orthotics...what a difference .no shin pain or calf pain. Starting from wk 1 again (only got to wk 3 anyway) and doing 30s runs instead of 60. Going to do wk 1 twice then start with 60s runs.

Hiding in plain sight⁉️
Such a shame that fibromyalgia doesn't require us to be wearing cats, nice white bright ones for the world to see.... that's how I feel about the doubting Thomas's of the world...because if we see a person in a cast then we all assume they are in pain ,struggling and need help. I even have helped out

Non sensical preference options with my bank and me...
My bank won't give me my money tomorrow unless I use the cash machine. As I have an amount that isn't round I require to go into the bank. However they have told me to transfer the full amount to my nationwide account from the options at the atm and take it out from there instead. With ocd and tourette's

I have finished week 7 run 2 just before the
injury
. Would it be wise to go
back
in to it straight at week 7 or step back a week

injury
caused my discs to blow and strangulated the siactic ...luckily during removal the nerve did not snap in any of the three spots. It left me with a leg that did not listen twitched and kicked my wife.

W8R1 - clicking ankle ?
I got to w8r1 yesterday...
back
to where I was before my
injury
2 months ago...so I'm a bit nervous on the extra running time. I will err on the side of caution, and leave two days for recovery...and might even go on the treadmill for my next run (though I really do prefer outdoors).

FENBENDAZOLE
Hi Ladies Hope everyone keeping as well as possible. Is anyone taking the above medication? Bought some but not used yet. Just coming to end of three months watch and wait. Been taking Berberine, Sea Buckthorn and small dose aspirin but would like to add Fenbendazole to list. Best wishes Janet

Still on the IC - knee injury
The sage advice from Irishprincess rang in my ears last week, about being in this for the long haul and not coming
back
too soon and making my
injury
worse and
back
to square one on the IC again.

Getting There... 👍👍👍
Each time I plan to try and beat the previous time but if
injury
dictates I'll drop
back
as appropriate.

Frustrating
After recovering from
injury
and illness last week I managed to get
back
to 10k and felt great. This week I have been struck down again with illness. Blood tests and samples done, been put on a huge dose of laxative before more tests.

Just when you thought it was safe to go out!!!!
To cut a long story short I seem to have escaped serious
injury
. Extremely sore
back
, buttocks and elbow this morning and still feel quite sick. Hopefully that is the shock. Quite worried about how sore my back is but my spine seems to be ok. Grateful to everyone concerned.

Balance problems
No typical PMR pain, just a return of the arthritis in my neck and
back
from an old
injury
. However, I’m now suffering with balance problems.

Autumn 2020 Half Marathon Group 😍 Virtual 5K race and injury prevention!
You will always find support and sympathy here - many of us have experienced the pain and frustration of
injury
; if you look
back
through my posts and you will see I have 'whined' quite a bit, but have received the most amazing responses that picked me up and kept me going.

Tip-toeing onto the bridge..... 😊
. Hidden bravely stepped over this morning post-
injury
, as has Roxdog. Hidden is
back
, Fionamags has celebrated her fantastic 60minutes graduation run here today and Buddy34 ran an amazing 10k PB today too. Allbarron is working her way brilliantly through roseabi's bridging plan a few

Losing your job
I have only just gone
back
to full time hours due to head
injury
and as such although doing full time hours I am working slower than before the injury as I am still not fully healed. This means I am one of the ones being asked to consider unpaid leave.

Cochlear implants
Hi,, I’m beginning to sound like a broken record. I have a cochlear implant , debating whether it’s been worth all of the hassle of having it in as it’s been painful. Has anyone out there had great success with theirs ? Thanks Jenny 😊

Almost back to normal
Today I managed 8.5K on my long run, most of the route was the same as that 10K so I tackled a few gremlins and really felt like I’m
back
to where I was pre
injury
for the first time.

Pneumococcal vaccine in short supply.
Today, Sharon has officially been diagnosed with moderate COPD, about which I have had strong suspicions about, for over a month. The GP has said she needs to have the Pneumococcal vaccine, of course, especially with working in a nursing home. Sharon then asks the receptionist to make an appointment
