INJURY UPDATE, BACK ON THE COUCH
So, injury sustained Thur 11th June, note, the DAY AFTER I finished week 8. Took it easy for a week or so, with, persistent pain above ankle, especially when weight bearing. Took myself to a physiotherapist. As pain and tenderness was so localised he suggested x-ray. Off to Urgent care, same day,

Swyer-James syndrome
Anyone else been diagnosed with swyer-James syndrome? I have been diagnosed with swyer-James syndrome along with bronchiectasis which leaves my lung function at around 30% total. Curious if anyone else has been diagnosed with it to see how they cope with it and learn more about it. Thank you

Does anyone else get sore calves the day after running?
I did think I had a running
injury
back
in March but surely that would have healed by now? And if it was an injury, surely it would be localised and not both of my entire calves??

Just need a chat
Your post moved me so much . . . my beloved brother is in a care home as it is impossible for either his daughter or I to have him at home. And this breaks my heart as I know he would benefit so much emotionally from being in a family and home environment although he is well cared for physically.

I have been fairly active all my life & recently not been able to while recovering from a head
injury
that made me wonder if I would get
back
to normal exercise.

Long time no see!
I've run on consecutive days for the first time (without
injury
!), and really got
back
to having running as a regular part of my life. And a whole host of my running buddies have joined in too.

Tinnitus getting worse
I am 67, have had tinnitis for decades and have been able to ignore it. Recently it is getting louder and more distracting. The only change in my life recently is that Im weaning off sertraline( zoloft) and started taking bupropion ( wellbutrin), both antidepressants. I fear bupropion might be the guilty

Once more from the top
This time around I am trying to ease
back
even more slowly. I also eased
back
running on knee
injury
1, but was doing lots of physio and cycling to make up for it and I suspect I overdid that part a little. This time I will just rest between runs. Also been experimenting with shoes.

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements

Do you believe in life after love?
I have many depression and anxiety disorders and lower

that I am on strong pain meds for. Most days I feel emotionally and physically numb. Is there hope for me?

Traffic pollution drops in lockdown – but other risks to air quality increase, reveal Manchester researchers.
Traffic pollution for most parts of the UK is plummeting thanks to the COVID-19 lockdown but more urban ozone – a dangerous air pollutant which can cause airway inflammation in humans - is probably being generated, say experts from The University of Manchester. The analysis was led by Hugh Coe, Professor

W8R1--A nip in the air, and very welcome it was too :-)
On getting
back
and looking at the stats it was very pleasing to see that the bore out the fact that going slow, especially at the start is GOOD.

Back on the IC
After what I thought was a fairly smooth and gradual return in June, unfortunately my left knee
injury
has come
back
with a vengeance in early July. So I have not done any running for 5 weeks now.
