Completed W1R3

I have been fairly active all my life & recently not been able to while recovering from a head injury that made me wonder if I would get back to normal exercise. After being given clearance to start exercise again, I was looking for a way to get back into exercise, conscious that my muscle condition might be decreasing.

Running has always been good for me, but I’ve never enjoyed it much, it’s always a chore. I’m a fair weather outdoor runner.

Stumbled upon C25K, and have just completed R3 of W1. I know it’s early in the plan, but for the first time in my life I am actually enjoying running, I look forward to the weeks to come - although I’m not sure I will want to run in the rain and cold outdoors. Any tips, pls let me know!

Lovely to read all the shared stories. Thanks for this app and space to share!

Hi and well done, the only tip I have is running in cooler temps and in the rain is actually fine, just avoid Icy runs they are not worth the Injury risk, I much prefer running in the Winter and have to get up at stupid O'Clock when it is hot to avoid the heat.
