Have you tried insoles?
I’ve had a tough time with
injury
this year and now I’m
back
to almost full fitness I’m trying anything to help prevent a recurrence including several pairs of new running shoes, support socks, yoga, running only on grass and diet to keep the weight off.

Injured - frustrating waiting to heal
I suffered a calf
injury
during R1W4 and can’t wait to get
back
into C25K; its clearly going to take time And I know I must not run before I can walk so to speak - just find it frustrating.

Experience of neurology during the coronavirus crisis. Asking for your help!
Dear all We have a virtual meeting of the Medical Advisory Panel of Ataxia UK in a couple of weeks. One of the topics we will be discussing is how neurology appointments have been affected by the coronavirus climate that we unfortunately find ourselves in. I would be so grateful if you could let me

First consolidation run - winter is coming!
The last thing I want is an
injury
that is going to set me
back
. My left calf felt a bit tight at different stages tonight so I need to be mindful of that. But overall, it was a sensible run, a solid 30 mins and a quick recovery I noticed.

Week 9 run 3 complete! Ran 4.8km!
Started in April, had a couple of weeks off with a knee
injury
in June and eased myself
back
into it afterwards. I just ran 4.8km in my last 30 min run of the programme. Not quite 5km but still super proud! How do I get 'graduate' added to me name!? Haha!

Back to running again after injury 💪🏻
A month to the date after I injured my ankle after running week 8 run 1. I was devastated to be so close to the end but had no choice but to rest. Last night I thought it was time to try again, ankle was healed and I just missed running. Put on week 8 run 2 thinking I’d manage about 10 minutes if that

INJURY UPDATE, BACK ON THE COUCH
So, injury sustained Thur 11th June, note, the DAY AFTER I finished week 8. Took it easy for a week or so, with, persistent pain above ankle, especially when weight bearing. Took myself to a physiotherapist. As pain and tenderness was so localised he suggested x-ray. Off to Urgent care, same day,

Worried about Breast Scan
Hi. I had a breast biopsy last year on a lump which turned out to be a fibroadenoma. I had another lump in January which was nothing and now just had another scan as I am worried about a different lump. I'm so worried about the results. Has anyone else had similar problems with breasts and having so

Does anyone else get sore calves the day after running?
I did think I had a running
injury
back
in March but surely that would have healed by now? And if it was an injury, surely it would be localised and not both of my entire calves??

Swyer-James syndrome
Anyone else been diagnosed with swyer-James syndrome? I have been diagnosed with swyer-James syndrome along with bronchiectasis which leaves my lung function at around 30% total. Curious if anyone else has been diagnosed with it to see how they cope with it and learn more about it. Thank you

Completed W1R3
I have been fairly active all my life & recently not been able to while recovering from a head
injury
that made me wonder if I would get
back
to normal exercise.

Long time no see!
I've run on consecutive days for the first time (without
injury
!), and really got
back
to having running as a regular part of my life. And a whole host of my running buddies have joined in too.

Just need a chat
Your post moved me so much . . . my beloved brother is in a care home as it is impossible for either his daughter or I to have him at home. And this breaks my heart as I know he would benefit so much emotionally from being in a family and home environment although he is well cared for physically.

Once more from the top
This time around I am trying to ease
back
even more slowly. I also eased
back
running on knee
injury
1, but was doing lots of physio and cycling to make up for it and I suspect I overdid that part a little. This time I will just rest between runs. Also been experimenting with shoes.

Tinnitus getting worse
I am 67, have had tinnitis for decades and have been able to ignore it. Recently it is getting louder and more distracting. The only change in my life recently is that Im weaning off sertraline( zoloft) and started taking bupropion ( wellbutrin), both antidepressants. I fear bupropion might be the guilty

W8R1--A nip in the air, and very welcome it was too :-)
On getting
back
and looking at the stats it was very pleasing to see that the bore out the fact that going slow, especially at the start is GOOD.

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements

Back on the IC
After what I thought was a fairly smooth and gradual return in June, unfortunately my left knee
injury
has come
back
with a vengeance in early July. So I have not done any running for 5 weeks now.
