e coli
I’ve been doing ok but I've had a couple of chest infections since November for which I’ve taken my emergency
antibiotics
, namely co-amoxiclav. I had to submit a sputum sample recently and was told I had grown E. coli and to take another course of co-amoxiclav.

Tooth infection - increase prednisolone?
On my dentist's advice I started a course of
antibiotics
yesterday evening. The pain woke me at 4am. I felt feverish but don't believe I have a raised temp as such. I have been feeling even more easily fatigued for the last 10 days which I now attribute to the building infection.

Medication (Drug) Treatments for Heart Disorders
Just as there are many different
antibiotics
to treat different infections, there are several different medications to treat arrhythmias, as all medications affect everyone differently, it is always a good idea to speak with a Medical Professional about which medication is best for you.

Tight chest
Was in Hospital a few weeks ago on IV
antibiotics
and these have made my chest tight. Hardly able to clear any gunk. Gunk is pretty clear, so not an infection. I do active cycle of breathing but am finding this hard work. Any ideas?

How to mitigate effects of antibiotics?
I have had considerably worsened RLS/PLMD symptoms on certain
antibiotics
before. On this occasion I can't elect a different antibiotic. Nor can i take probiotics. I'm seeking suggestions as to how to mitigate any potential worsening of symptoms this time around.

Aargh will it never end ?
Having caught a bug off my daughter (flu like symptoms all last week) I called a temp halt to exercise.Over the weekend, it's morphed into a severe chest infection and I'm now on
antibiotics
and steroids. I need this like I need a hole in my head !

MXT and antibiotics
Has anyone had a tooth infection and been prescribed
antibiotics
while on MXT. Dentist advised that I ask GP which antibiotic is safe to take. GP can only advise not to take Amoxicillin but not what to take - said dentist should know. He clearly doesn’t so Im stuck in the middle!

I am on Lowe dose
antibiotics
(sorry forgot name) . I have had numerous bouts of pneumonia and sepsis, very lucky to still be here so my family are obviously concerned of the risk to further infection. Can anyone advise, have they had more infections on this etc.

Update
I seen my respiratory consultant today who is convinced the lowering of prednisone by rheumatologist to 10/5 daily ie 10 one day 5 the next has definitely caused my new right sided pleural effusion so he’s now increased prednisone to 30mg and I’m on a very slow taper as well as
antibiotics
, he now believes
