thrush in mouth
I have had
antibiotics
lately and have thrush in my mouth. I have been prescribed Nystan to take 4 times a day. The nurse /practioner said also rinse my mouth after using my steroid inhaler. The problem is do I rinse and spit or rinse and swallow? Swallowing is so much easier

Entresto…..lowest dose
Hi, following on from my recent post about starting to take the middle dose of Entresto…… I couldn’t tolerate it…..ended up with a bad uti, kidney pain and then having to take
antibiotics
….. this led to more abdominal pain from my recent surgery……😵💫🙁🎢so it’s been a very stressful month!

tinnitus has come back
I took ear
antibiotics
for 7 days, which cleared the infection and the tinnitus nearly disappeared 4 weeks later.the dr said that I had a perforated ear drum which is common with infections, which will heal over 3 weeks or so, which seemed correct , however Today 12th July my tinnitus is back at moderate

Alendronic acid for oa ?
I have at least 4 lung infections every year and prednisolone has to be taken with
antibiotics
and dies help a lot. I am concerned that I can’t take prednisone when I get a chest infection if I use the Alendronic acid. Has anyone else been in this position? Thank you Sheila

Glomerulonenephritis
After almost 2 years of going round in circles , having protein, blood and taking
antibiotics
it's now come to light that most of the time it's blood in my urine and not a infection. Gp advised me to speak to consultant because she says linked to SLE as i have an app in 2 weeks.

List of medications to avoid?
I understand there are some medications that can badly affect us B12 deficients - certain
antibiotics
for instance. Is there a definitive list available? I've searched this forum but can't find anything.

Interaction of Statins with other medicine
I am mostly interested in the usual stuff like
antibiotics
or vitamins, or stuff you usually get at the pharamacy for when you are under weather for minor conditions. Given the weather over here, thinking of topping up my Vit D dosage too. Any issues?

Fungal infection in lungs
Several courses of
antibiotics
have all failed to shift it. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get rid of this? Any non-antibiotic remedies would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Influenza A
Wondering if anyone has 1 had influenza and how it went 2 if my decision to take Tamiflu for 10 instead of 5 days is reasonable ( my docs have always doubled the time for
antibiotics
for bacterial infections) 3 Not sure how to determine when I am no longer contagious as pcr and similar tests

what antibiotics did you take? Emma/Alice test
For those who did the Emma/Alice testing, what
antibiotics
did you take if you had to? I’m debating whether to do the test or just take an antibiotic preemptively.
