Antibiotics and T
Would appreciate if anyone has knowledge about the effect of
antibiotics
on T. I'm currently taking
antibiotics
for an infection and my T has gone mental. Not sure if it's the original infection or the
antibiotics
that is playing havoc. Any ideas, people?

6 years on after mtbi abroad and only just accepting I’ve got PTSD and/or chronic PCS but difficulty getting help/diagnosis from GP
Multiple lots of
antibiotics
did nothing and I had weeks off in my new job. It was part time, working 3 days out of 7 but even when I wasn’t ill I spent the other 4 days recovering/preparing to go back in again. It became hell, this job that should have been straightforward.

Anyone with gastroparesis?
Plus, I was on several courses of very strong
antibiotics
for the 1st 3 months, so my microbiome was a mess. I have gotten this sorted with pre and probiotics, but the healthier diet I would prefer to maintain (transplant) is opposite to the one I need. Very frustrating.

Covid vaccination & on antibiotics & steroids.
However I now have a chest infection & was put on both
antibiotics
& prednisone tablets yesterday. I know you are not doctors but do you think it is safe for me to have the Covid vaccination? I am already overdue for this one because I was in hospital & had to cancel it before.

Given
antibiotics
, remove catheter in 2 weeks to see if I can void(fat chance)Onc. suggest NOT to take PSA test so soon suggesting results would be skewed from placing & removing catheter. Early on Tall Allen suggested TURP I had a urolift procedure 2 years ago which failed.

diverticulitis flair - cipro for 4 days, flagyl for 2, pain gone, stomach super distended, no bm for 3 days. Liquid diet 24 hrs. ER req’d?
Think the
antibiotics
are working as i’ don[t have pain. I started cipro as soon as I knew a flair had kicked in. And 2 days later I got my blood work and with a CRP of 155, i decided to start metronizole which I had.

Heart issues with GCA
The over the counter Prevacid was doing great damage to me, and the prescribed
antibiotics
triggered vertigo in me. Please be careful what you take.

I have been refused

and didn't qualify for IV antivirals but have had 4 Covid jabs and a Flu jab though. Thanks for letting me moan! 😞

Just been diagnosed - scared and v depressed
I went to the gp surgery and over a few months tried repeated courses of
antibiotics
, which failed to clear my lungs. I saw a different nurse practitioner every time and was just given
antibiotics
and shooed away. None worked.

PEG pain
She does get infections around the site and
antibiotics
and a saline wash cure this. However recently after an infection she started to complain about pain to her left side of the stomach. No redness or heat is showing and it's ongoing. Any ideas? Paul

Glasses for eye infection
Had bells palsy for almost 2 months. Palsy eye has an infection. Used antibiotic gel twice. Healing slowly when indoors applying eye drops frequently and using night ointment. Going outside makes eye super dry. Tried normal glasses...not enough protection. Saw moisture chamber glasses with detachable

From 4 mg of Prednisone to 240mg of Solumedrol.. in 30 hours....
So I'm on solumedrol, two different
antibiotics
three times per day,IV, and breathing treatments every 4 hours. Today is January 1st and I came in on the 28th of December. I'm still wheezing like an orchestra and see a lot of the familiar signs of somebody who takes a lot of steroids!
