Raised CRP to 5.3 and ESR to 25
I currently have a second UTI, first one August and am taking
antibiotics
. Could the UTI be elevating my CRP and ESR? I don't want to increase my pred unless absolutely essential. It has taken me 18 months to get from 9mg to 4mg a day. I don't seem to have any PMR pain.

Update
The day I finished
antibiotics
for the UTI, I tested positive for Covid. Spent 5 days in my hotel room. Just glad I had an ocean view room and a balcony. At the tail end of Covid I got sinusitis, which turned into another infection. I have found out it’s chronic.

Cure Candida Balanoposthitis without Circumcision
First 2 weeks, Urologist gave me
antibiotics
. After that, I visited Dermatologist and he gave me antifungal. I have been applying Clotrimazole cream and it is getting better-no above mentioned symptoms and I can retract fully now. I am still applying one time a day.

A fib
Had a severe case of sepsis which effected my heart with the massive doses of
antibiotics
, made it go into afib. They kept dosing me with various drugs trying to slow it down resorting to belladonna very scary. Have come out of hospital and left on beta blockers and apixaban.

Recovery from AV Fistula Surgery
Also,
antibiotics
were administered, and the result was a cocktail of explosive proportions. Pun intended. My stomach hurt and I was nauseous. Without being too graphic, I was spending a lot of time on the pot. This nausea scared me. I am always worried my kidneys are going to crash.

Chronic Endometritis
Hey lovely ladies! My question today related to endometritis/chronic uterine inflammation. I have done 4 hysteroscopies so far (two in 2021, one in 2022, one in 2023), each time the inflamed endometrium came out, with a "strawberry" appearance. After the tests, I came out positive for Ureaplasma (at

But she's been on Co-careldopa and that didn't seem to help, she's now on Pregabilin and some
antibiotics
for a possible chest infection. My main concern is the pain she is in, she doesn't sleep at night and it's getting worrying now as we all need to recharge our batteries.

Finally did it..👏🤣
Covid. 7 chest infections (many steroids &
antibiotics
) 2 day stay in hospital with pneumonia. and one cracked rib......🤦♂️ So if any fellow Ct5k friends out there who are struggling a bit... It can be done.👍. Take it slowly, go back weeks when you get a setback...extra rest days between runs.

B12 & Folate Deficiency and tolerability of antibiotics (why I react badly to them)
I wanted to just share this in case anyone else has similar issues with reacting badly to some
antibiotics
(particularly Trimethoprim or Bactrim) after developing a B12 deficiency.

Flare or Anxiety attack
Got down to 8mg but suffered two infections and ended up in hospital for IV
antibiotics
. Home after four days on oral
antibiotics
. Tocilizumab injection stopped in meantime. Four injections missed. Now feeling as though the GCA is flaring, no serious pain just a strange sensation in my temples.
