Tight chest

Please could anyone give me advice as how to ease a tight chest. Was in Hospital a few weeks ago on IV antibiotics and these have made my chest tight. Hardly able to clear any gunk. Gunk is pretty clear, so not an infection. I do active cycle of breathing but am finding this hard work.

Any ideas?

LME1 Hi

I find a hot steamy bath really helps and I have got a mist humidifier too . My chest hurts at present as I am just getting over a horrendous cold virus. I have taken 2 lots of ABs but know I should take steroids but they really do not agree with me mentally. Trying to bring the mucous up with steam and yes my ventolin too.

Hope you feel better soon

Thank you Mona. I think we are all struggling at the moment. We need some sunshine. We have had a few hours sitting out in the garden, and it makes a lot of difference. Hope you feel better soon.Linda
