6 month old chronic cough
Back to the gp various times and three courses of
antibiotics
yet this still has not fully gone! Been referred to pediatrics and gp said this may be the start of asthma but hard to diagnose due to his age. I’m really getting anxious about this and why it’s still lingering.

mother of all flare ups
Been back to doctors who said it is a flare up of my IBS, how do they know without doing some tests or a proper exam, it maybe true that my IBS has had a massive flare due to a bereavement and
antibiotics
.

Life Insurance
Hi all :) I've been trying to get life insurance and have been speaking to a broker for many years but no one will insure me as I've needed many courses of
antibiotics
over the years and will shortly be moving onto a prophylaxis to manage exacerbations of Bronchiectasis.

Currently in hospital but a bit confused
He said that the haemophilius bugs in my chest will always be there and will have to be managed with prophylactics and treatment doses of
antibiotics
which is news to me….I thought I had come into hospital to clear the bug with IVs!!

UCTD and penicillin allergy and use of hydroxychloroquine
Consultant gave me a leaflet where it says macrolide
antibiotics
, such as erythromycin, are contraindicated. I’m allergic to penicillin, so my go-to if I do get an infection is usually a macrolide. Does anyone else take hydroxychloroquine and have a penicillin allergy and has it been an issue?

Suspected flare - ? When to up the steroids
Also can 2 courses of
antibiotics
(Nitrofurantoin and Trimethoprim) affect how well the pred is working? I’m feeling a bit depressed as I thought I was ready for this reduction and I have pressure from my Rheumatologist to reduce .5mg a month which I can’t do.

Oxygen therapy
Antibiotics
worked super well, plus excellent ambulance crew. What is involved with oxygen at home, is it a small mobile cylinder? Do I take it everywhere. How does it work with a CPAP mask? Is it phased in as to be rid of the impurities already in my lungs.

steroids
I’ve just completed my second round of prednisolone/
antibiotics
in so many weeks due to a persistent chest infection. I now feel so tender to the touch, almost painful, mostly on the trunk of my body, it’s a wierd feeling. Has anyone experienced this?? Could this be down to the steroids??

Update
Finally got seen and have
antibiotics
. Sample flashed up high markers and unseen blood, and today's even worse. Given Nitrofurantoin so I'm hoping to see improvement soon. Thanks for all your support and advice.

Vaginal microbial test -two bacteria are higher. Any experience with treatment, recovery and impact on ivf/icsi ?
I understand that my husband and I should get
antibiotics
to get treated and avoid reinfection. Anyone has experience with this similar situation in terms of symptoms, course of treatment and recovery? Any impact on the following ivf/icsi cycle ? Thank you!

Bronchiectasis exacerbation
I've had sinus issues and been coughing up green phlegm for a few weeks now that
antibiotics
aren't touching. Proper drained of energy too. Could this be a flare-up? Diagnosed with bronchiectasis a few years, probably brought on by CLL with hypagammaglobulinemia.

Chest infections
Last year, late Autumn, I had 4 doses of

TOA advice!
Whilst admitted to hospital I had IV
antibiotics
, CTAP & USS both scans showed fat stranding and inflammation around my right ovary and the consultant advised that I had likely developed PID from my copper IUD causing sepsis and TOA.
