back in the hospital
Started me on IV
antibiotics
. Tue they put a tube in attached to a machine to draw out the fluid. On Fri the tube had worked itself loose so they pulled it out. Today doctors said they plan to do surgery to clean out what they can then put in a bigger tube. Nothing but fun and games here.

I could have PMR…
At the hospital they gave me
antibiotics
intravenously and a shot of steroids and sent me home. I got better and had no further PMR symptoms. 4 weeks ago I started to get shoulder pain again. Mostly located on the left side, it came out of nowhere and I just seemed to wake up with it.

Have asthma allergies and long COVID etc etc I’m often on
antibiotics
and steroids since diagnosis and pollution seems to really exacerbate my condition . That explains why I’ve always been better by the sea. I ve gone the longest time recently without a flare up .

out of hospital after pneumonia
Have been receiving
antibiotics
and 30-40 mg of pred daily during my stay. Was released on Monday stating I’ve had nasty case of pneumonia. Instructions on discharge to go back immediately to 5.5 mg of pred which I’ve done. No mention of adrenal crisis in discharge letter.

I had recently had several different courses of
antibiotics
for a repeated bowt of sinusitis, which I have had chronic issues with and several operations for over 33 years and also oral steroids as asthma was brewing again.

frustrated and frightened
I’m just at the end of another round of
antibiotics
and my stomach constantly now looks like I’m about to give birth, so tight and uncomfortable. My bowel had also stopped working but now taking powders from gp that is just about moving it along but this is also excruciating.

infections caused by endo
My results came back an hour later and my inflammatory makers were very high, so on the strong
antibiotics
again, which in themselves make me feel so unwell.

mild struggles
Antibiotics
don’t really help beyond immediately. Next leukaemia doctor chat in three months time. Had covid jab today on top of sinus infection. Tired! Feeling a bit low physically and emotionally. Just so hard to keep up with people who don’t have CLL felt like posting.

PMR Update
I have been on
antibiotics
now 3 courses for cystitis/uti which I’ve never had before - so don’t know if that can have any effect.

Pseudomonas infection.
Good morning all, l have had a Pseudomonas infection for quite a time and been given stronger
antibiotics
to get rid of it. Unfortunately they have not done the trick, so now l am on a Nebuliser twice a day and will have to be on it for a year, apparently.

Persistent infections
Also i would welcome input from anyone who is taking
antibiotics
as a preventative and if there are alternatives to azithromycin.

Feel lost
I am now in pain with lower side backache and after seeing GP on Friday they have given me
antibiotics
as they think it's a kidney infection, and to see them again in a week if not improved. They also don't have my results as the computer systems don't talk to each other.

RSV and recovery
I am now home and it’s been about a week and I’ve had another round of
antibiotics
but I’m still feeling awful. My chest still wheezy and I have a chesty cough. I felt better yesterday after weeks of feeling rubbish so decided to go on a walk only five minutes to get my prescription.

Bronchiectasis and unrelated antibiotics
, and now I am on
antibiotics
amoxicilin. Dentist says 6 days or so. In general my peak flow always increases with
antibiotics
for other reasons (dental, urinary), but is 6 days long enough for my bronchy lungs? Any thoughts? Cheers

Post SCT question
My infection markers are normal, I’ve been on various
antibiotics
& had blood cultures taken for viral & bacterial infections, nothing’s been found. They are talking about sending me home, but my temperature is 38.2 this morning, it goes down with paracetamol.

Had circumcision, the “important stitch” popped (Dorsal slit).
Doc said it was infected and gave me local and topical
antibiotics
. I felt ill a couple days later. I had went to get a referral from this new doctor to see someone The referral would be a month away. I decided to go back to the facility.
