No running for me atm ☹️☹️☹️
I visited a dr who said he thought I had a chest infection but he didn’t think I need
antibiotics
. So off I went on holiday thinking I’ll be better when I can relax. I even took my running stuff just in case🤞🤣.

Gallstones
I've been given strong painkillers and
antibiotics
. I'm a bit miffed, as I've been following a Low Fodmap, anti- inflammatory, pescatarian diet for as long as I can remember. Is there a thyroid link? I'm still on just 50mcg Levo.

Let’s see? Bowel perforation and GCA Flare ?
They stopped all my immunosuppressant meds and a few others while I got a few ‘gallons’ of
antibiotics
IV to clear the abdominal infection. Since I was still on
antibiotics
for three weeks after discharge…no Actemra for me!

Mild Bronchiectasis airway clearance
I get the odd chest infection (maybe 1/2 an year) after a virus which clears up with
antibiotics
however even after I’m no longer coughing up phlegm, my lungs still sound coarse when forcing exhalation.

Health Anxiety
Google, testing, ultrasounds,
antibiotics
, canceling plans. I am spinning out of control. I do see a Psychologist and thank God for her, but I hate feeling DREAD every morning. Just glad to be part of a group that may understand.

past my sell by date part 3
I sort of struck lucky with a new gp who ordered a raft of tests “Sort of” because whereas I couldn’t understand some results I have been booked in for a US urinary tract because neither
antibiotics
or pessaries helped. Despite already taking amlodipine for bp my latest reading is 150/75.

Also,
antibiotics
. Is the one Valium enough to calm me down as I am pretty anxious about the procedure? Has anyone else who has had these? Can you speak to your experience? How is the recovery? Thanks everyone!

No period after endo excision
About 2 weeks after surgery I was feeling a dragging pain when I went to the toilet, GP advised blood in urine therefore may be an infection and prescribed
antibiotics
for 7 days and if it continued I was to go back to GP. It continued so as they requested went back to GP.

Cystitis post endometriosis surgery
Urine culture keep on coming back negative and despite taking the
antibiotics
the symptoms doesn't go away. Maybe for few days I feel better than it start again and last an entire week or so.

BCF after 9 years post proton therapy
I don't know of anyone who has had a reduction in PSA after
antibiotics
unless it was bacterial so I think this is just a formality. I wanted PSMA now but both he and the RO recommended waiting for retest.

Suspected Vulvadynia? Severe and constant clitoris pain/burning with some pain underneath. All exacerbated by sitting/walking/weeing.
A week later, I was put on more
antibiotics
- trimethoprim just to make sure it wasn’t a stubborn UTI. No relief. Alongside this they decided to treat me for herpes (result wasn’t back yet but I was due to go on holiday) so I began taking aciclovir. Both gave no relief.

Pneumonia/cancer
Had
antibiotics
and fingers crossed, not feeling too poorly. Doctor said it was a small showing on the x-ray and that no cancer concerns at all. He said I will have a follow up x-ray in a few weeks to see if it has cleared and if not then further tests will be done to see about further treatment.

succumbed with guilt and what if….
I took him A&E 4 days before and they completed tests and discharged him saying he just had a cough infection and provided him with
antibiotics
. My heart told me that there was more but I feel I didn’t do enough and I am swollen with guilt and what I could have done more.

antibiotics
yesterday and still felt awful so the dr gave me a blood test and today they said it’s now

Mouth thrush
Does anyone else suffer from thrush in the mouth, due to taking
antibiotics
. I think l may have it as my tongue is coated in white and l have lost a lot of my sense of taste. I have just started taking colomycin in Nebuliser for pseudomonas infection.

Recurring infections?
She put me on a short course of
antibiotics
which I took in the days between Christmas and New Year. They seemed to clear something up as I definitely felt more clear headed afterwards.
