TBI Advice
I am concerned that she has an infection, has been on strong
antibiotics
for 3 days with small improvement. The consultant has informed us that they will not give any more
antibiotics
if these don't work. I'm concerned they are giving up on her too quickly.

I've a permanent sore throat and think I need
antibiotics
again. I get really out of breath on any activity. I am gluten and dairy free and not able to eat tomatoes or peppers I'm still 6.5 stones 44kg since July. I feel like my health is getting worse.

road to diagnosis
I was given a course of
antibiotics
for this previously which helped to some extent . I’ve had other health issues previously but I’m not sure if these are all related. Based on the above information, does this sound lupus related?

Considering NDT
I have been very unwell, picking up infections and having allergic reactions to
antibiotics
that left me with swelling around my eye and now a really ‘nice’ scar on my upper eyelid.

CRT-D update
On Thursday I will have my implant removed and remain on IV
antibiotics
for a further 2 weeks and then they will try to implant on the right hand side. Gutted to say the very least.

Influenza A while on W & W,-- the price for not wanting a vaccine
It was when I had my 2nd visit with the second oncologist (summer 2023 )that he recommended I have a prescription for
antibiotics
(just in case) ,,available in case I would need it.

Enter a week long battle with doctors to get
antibiotics
and 6 days later I couldn't walk fast enough to get my heartrate to the top of zone 1, I ran at a gentle pace and watched hr steadily climb, everything feels great and I'm going faster than lately but not pushing it.

FLARE & SICK DAY RULES OUT THE WINDOW FOR NEW GP
I was at ER yesterday and now on
antibiotics
. Day before I had asked her about upping the Pred until I'm feeling better or healed. I was at 14 mg. because I'm tapering. She was wondering why not an even "5" number. Anyway she wants 20 mgs. for a month then a drop to 17.5 for a month, etc.

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction - I am miserable
I'm currently on
antibiotics
for 6 weeks to clear a suspected infection. I'm starting to get really fed up of not being able to use my jaw properly. On the outside I look well, which I'm sick of people saying.

Elbow pain ongoing
Had a CT scan and there could possibly be an infection but no
antibiotics
and can't go back on RA meds either. I have to go for a nuclear medicine scan to see what and where the exact problem is.

Never ending circle
I eventually got a telephone appointment with my GP who gave me
antibiotics
, they didn't work. I managed to get another telephone appointment acweek later and this time he asked me to come to the surgery, as he had read my notes, saw the Sjogrens diagnosis and wanted to check my lungs.

Do exacerbations follow exacerbations?
I've now been to doctor and on 5 days of prednisone and a week of
antibiotics
. Before my time in hospital, I'd never even been on an inhaler! I'm now worried that every time I get a cold it's going to become an emergency...

Viral meningitis
Initially she was given antiviral and
antibiotics
because they was unsure if it was bacterial meningitis. She had been unwell for 5 or 6 weeks. Permanent headache that painkillers didn't touch.
