New Sufferer advice
I woke up one morning.... and had this "yinggggggg" sound in my left ear... it was annoying but i just thought it was your typical "ear infection" so i took
antibiotics
.... they didnt help whatsoever and so i started getting worried and sometimes started getting upset with this constant ring so much

Infections
Went after
antibiotics
. Than Thursday a start of a really bad throat which feels like a infection, not coughing up anything . No tempreture , but am checking . Also testing for covid , and will continue to do so . All through out my treatment never had any infections . 😷🙄.

I'm just about to finish cipro 14 day course of
antibiotics
and heading to 14,000 feet to go skiing. The cold air is already leaving me short of breath so worried what it might be like that high up. any suggestions would be helpful. i'm hoping i'll acclimate after a day.

perineal myxoid pseudotumor of fat
My ureters would back up fluid into the kidney and cause UTIs and hydrophynosis, landing me in the hospital on IV
antibiotics
for 5-6 days, 6 times that year. My urologist sent me to the Mayo Clinic. My bladder was hard as a baseball and very small. It only held 6oz of urine at a time.

A struggling LPR
Following a visit to GP who said it was viral but gave me
antibiotics
in case it wasn’t but little to no improvement. I was feeling really awful I didn’t know LPR could make you so bad I was unable to talk long without coughing and retching also had dry tickle throat all the time.

T3 starting dose too high?
I then took at bad dose of bronchitis a few days later and ended up on steroids and
antibiotics
and was very unwell. The thing is that I have not felt any benefits from the T3 at all. I am still exhausted with aches everywhere.

COPD & thyroid problems
After having what I thought was an elongated COPD exacerbation lasting over 8 weeks which has resulted in me taking 4 lots of
antibiotics
and 2 lots of steroids, it’s now been suggested that I may have a thyroid problem.

He had Peritonitis so needed
antibiotics
first. He was discharged with an appointment for this summer. His haemoglobin was very low and last week he had to have a blood transfusion.

lack of help
Even after
antibiotics
the hallucinations continue. The hospital just seemed to want rid of her with nothing planned for her future care/needs. Her daughter is at her wits end with where to go for help/advice. She was discharged to a local care home for ‘assessment of her future needs’.

Hiprex and D Mannose
However the flare ups became increasing frequent and I had 4 weeks of full dose
antibiotics
whilst also taking Hiprex and then after 4 weeks just continuing on Hiprex. 3 days after stopping the
antibiotics
I got an infection back.

What to do after prednisolone rescue ended?
Saw GP who found early chest infection so prescribed
antibiotics
(which finished on Christmas Day, chest seems fine now) and 40mg prednisolone for 5 days which I started a bit later and last dose was morning of Boxing Day.

WHEN YOUR SPUTUM TEST COMES BACK ‘CLEAR’
purulent sputum and lots of it and yet have been told that their sputum test has come back ‘clear’ and so have been left with no or insufficient antibiotic treatment to battle on, knowing full well that they are in the midst of an exacerbation which is being denied the type, strength and course of

constant pain
The second was I had had a vomiting bug or something which cleared me out and then took
antibiotics
for another reason and so my good gut bacteria was destroyed. The third maybe being my diet and eating the wrong things to a point it collapsed.

Tips for dealing with GP
I contacted my surgery only to be told as usual, there were no appointments but a doctor did issue
antibiotics
and steroid nasal spray. A week went by and I contacted the surgery again as I still had a fever and, by now, I had developed a really aggressive cough.

Better news
Chest infection confirmed and
antibiotics
working miracles. My elder son was with me today and he noticed a big change. Hubby was laughing and pulling such expressions when son was taking the mickey out of him. Of course physio came and wore him out as usual, but he recovered a lot quicker.
