Study: "Thiamine and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis: A Report of Three Cases."
Another study that came up on my PubMed alerts that I couldn't find yet on here. Obviously vitamin deficiencies are something that people here know is important to check for and a lot of people take extra B12 or generally more of other B vitamins or B vitamin complex, but I don't think I've seen anything

Constant blood tests but never any answers....
I had a DVT & PE 5 years ago. A couple of months after recovering I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but I have never needed medication for it - my regular blood tests always indicate it is managed well through diet & exercise. In the last year or so I have been feeling increasingly exhausted. As

Clawing My Way Up...!
I last posted on here in September when my son left for Uni. I was extremely low and the only solace I could find was at the bottom of a wine bottle in the evenings. Not ideal for someone with long term depression and anxiety and taking anti-depressants! I didn't think I could sink any lower. I just

Why You Should Drink Lemon Water In The Morning
Lemon is a yellow fruit whose pulp, juice, peel and even its zest can be exclusively used in food further the sour taste of lemon is due to the presence of 5 % to 6% of citric acid in lemon juice. This distinctive taste of lemon juice also makes it one of the important ingredients either when it is used

Tip for post-chemo fatigue
Hi everyone, since completing her second line chemo 2 months ago my mum has dealt with near constant fatigue and tiredness. She could barely do more than a few small tasks around the house before getting tired and achey all over. She wasn't able to see friends much or leave the house as often because

I was diagnosed in February with WBC of 29. On W&W but quite concerned to note that my WBC had risen to from 40 in June to 51 in September
and is now at 55. I have been taking Sea Kelp, Zinc and vitamin B 3 supplements to boost my immune system and just wondering if these may be affecting WBC. Probably a silly question but trying to figure out why WBC rising so quickly.

Really would like some advice if possible
Bear with me, I will get to the point after some background - please bear in mind I really struggle at doctors and get tongue tied & nervous - perhaps not getting my point across clearly and have a major fear of being labelled a hypochondriac! About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis

Day 8 of stopping B12 and complex and feel dreadful
I stopped taking my B vitamins because I want to have an active B12 test. One month was the suggested time. But today I feel dreadful. I feel hung over and dizzy. I feel like I felt before taking the B vitamins. I have mindfully not changed anything. I am doing this because previous blood tests

Awful pain shooting down my groin, my gynaecologist said it was vitamin b deficiency but my blood test has come back normal.......
Any idea what this could be? Also I get random horrendous pain in my left side abdomen and back. Anything else I can try to help it I am already on 8 tramadol tablets a day. Are painful joints associated with endometriosis? Sorry for such a long post it's my first time on here and I don't know anyone

What vitamins and minerals (etc) are best to take - and what dosage?
I already take Magnesium, a multivitamin with probiotic and calcium with Vitamin D (for Osteoporosis) I also take Glucosamine for creaky knees! I'm thinking of trying a Vitamin B boost - apparently my maternal grandmother suffered crippling headaches (probably migraine) and used to swear by her "Yeasties

another newbie here - needing help
I was just told I have PBC - I have Skleroderma and some weird hep B with no viral load - but always shows postive for the igm looking like I just got over it but it doesn't ever change - meaning I never did get over it or do get over it - I've tested this way for years at all different labs. Now AMA

I post on here quite often. I'll keep this as short as I can. I take 175mcg of Levothyroxine. My blood tests were as follows last month Serum t4 20.3 (Top of the range was 23 If I remember correctly) Tsh 0.22 Serum free triiodothyronine 4.1 (top of range was 6 I think) After trying
