Confused about anxiety, depression and Lyrica.
I have been suffering for a long time now with severe PMS with which I'm being referred to a gynaecologist and severe anxiety with depression. I have always thought the main diagnosis was depression, and should be treated as such. But I saw my GP the other day and we had a good chat. My anxiety was through

Todays menu, calories, football tickets & a hospital visit....
Well today was a bit of a surprise, as I thought I'd be well over calories thanks to lunch out and a frangipane tart from Aldi which appeared with my afternoon cup of tea! It appears not! Here's what I ate: Breakfast: 2 cups of tea (38 cals) Lunch (pub): Flatbread stuffed with beetroot, goats cheese

X-Ray and should I fast for these blood tests ?
Thanks for the reply, I have just had an appt. with my 'proper' doctor(who is only there part-time) had to insist on seeing him as they like to pass you over to whoever is available. Told him about these symptoms and that I was mainly concerned with the pins/needles in leg etc. Has sent me for X-Ray

Sleeping every chance I got, terrible dry mouth/throat, no motivation for life, extra irritable, awful acid reflux, no appetite or sex drive. Spoke with my neurologist and he said

Amitriptyline
Hi Everybody, On top of the many other drugs I take, my Rheumatologist has now put me on Amitriptyline. I have seen quite a few people here mention this so can anyone tell me if they have found it helpful or experienced any side effects please. Such a shame that we Scleroderma-ites seem to live so remotely

Amitriptyline has it worked for you?
Ive had IBS for years now and have periods where it puts my life on hold, to periods where I can mange it and move forward. However recently I am suffering with it to the point where nothing is working. I have just been to the Dr's and been prescribed Amitriptyline, i know they are part of the anti-depressants

Hi all! So this is the first time I've ever used a forum for anything but I just feel at a total loss/frustrated/angry like a lot of you probably do too. Making progress . . . .
I've suffered from tinnitus for 28 years now, with the tinnitus being severe for the last 7 years. Had some spells off work, including four in the last 12 months, the usual anxiety and depression with some really dark thoughts at times. Social life has been very limited to say the least. However, following

Probable IC
I am about to go into hospital for a day case procedure to have a bladder hydrodistension and probable biopsy. However, my urogynaecologist is fairly certain I have interstitial cystitis. I am taking Amitriptyline 15 mgs at night for the pain but if I try and come off this I have a sort of urethral
