Hello, I’ve been having chronic migraines for the last 20 months. I have tried taking Pizotifen, amitriptyline, and am still taking atenolol and venlafaxine. In June, I had a bi-lateral GON block which didn’t work. In August I was given my first dose of Botox. As Botox is given in two doses, 3 months

Botox Day 1
After 3 years of suffering with Chronic Migraine, and 3 months of waiting for my Botox - I finally had my first appointment today. I definitely underestimated how painful it was going to be, but let’s hope the pain was worth it! Fingers crossed it starts to help over the next couple of weeks, as I’ve

Medication Question
Morning, hope you are all as pain free as possible today. I have a question in respect of medication I am still trying to find the best solution for me. I tried amitriptyline but it just didn't work, it didn't touch the pain and left me even more exhausted. Recently I have been on Pregablin up to 175mg

Duloxetine with low dose of tramadol?
Hi all I’m hoping to switch from Amitriptyline (which is no longer working for me) to Duloxetine very soon. I also take cocodamol here and there and it really helps but I have to stop it ideally because of mast cell issues (a whole other story). Tramadol would be a suitable switch but I’ve read it

Concerned Wife
Hi, hope this is OK to post. My husband has had mild RLS for many years but last weekend his symptoms suddenly became extreme and constant, seemingly out of the blue. For context, he is 30, and has taken antidepressants for many years without any increase in symptoms. He has also been taking amipiprazole

Where was I?
I gave some insight recently into problems I’d had which led to a diagnosis of Vestibular Migraine. I posted as Everywhere. However, Everywhere disappeared and is now nowhere to be seen in the members list. As a result of an HU glitch which took them a week to sort out, I had to rejoin as Everywhere2

Ropinirole withdrawal
Hi all, newbie here. I was prescribed Ropinirole about 6 months ago, in May my ankles started to swell and got burning sensation in my feet. Anyone been prescribed cyclophosphamide as a steroid sparer?
My friends father has had a terrible time. Had a PET CT and they never got back to him. A month later had blood clots in one leg and ruptured aortic aneurysm. Operated on in the night. Then a month later was in hospital again with diverticulitis and kidney issues. They put him on methotrexate and

Feel like legs and feet are “Wrapped in Cling Film!”
It’s hard to explain but from the knees down both legs feel very numb and weird when I flex my feet. This has come on progressively and I now realise that I can’t feel hot or cold on them. My bladder is also playing tricks, meaning I can’t tell when I’ve finished a wee as my sensation has completely

Advice please
I’ve had RLS for years. I went to the GP but it feels like he was clutching at straws a bit. I was put on 10mg Amitriptyline - which had been rather hit and miss. And I know from here that many would say Amitriptyline is the last thing you want to have for RLS. So I’ve got an GP appointment coming

Mebeverine
Hi all, just wondering about Mebeverine as my GP has prescribed this in the past, and I have it on repeat prescription. I do not take this regularly, as I seem to find that I can't take it before my evening meal as I have to take other meds then.Just wondering if anyone has taken the 2x a day slow release
