Can anyone help with these numbers?

Hello everyone. I'm posting some thyroid numbers for my boss. She hasn't previously had a thyroid problem, but these numbers just came back for her and she needs some advice before meeting with her doctor.

TSH 0.005 (0.360 - 3.740)

FT3 10.0 (2.1 - 4.0)

FT4 2.91 (0.73 - 1.84)

TPO ab 168 (0 to 34)

No vitamin bloodwork was done, just the thyroid. She's currently taking amitriptyline for nerve pain from CMT. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Could be early stage Hashimoto’s (autoimmune hypothyroid)

Hashimoto’s frequently starts with transient hyperthyroid results and symptoms

Or could be Graves’ disease - autoimmune hyperthyroid

Needs more testing

Graves’ disease should always be confirmed by testing TSI or Trab antibodies

Also important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Hi SlowDragon! Thank you so much for your reply. I'm not sure if you can answer this, but do you know if thyroid disease can be brought on by medication or surgery? My boss had an appendectomy in April and she said that's when she started to get a lot of her symptoms.

Low B12 after anaesthetic could be an issue

Or antibiotics will wipe out gut bacteria, can lead to leaky gut
