Return of symptoms after a colposcopy
I was diagnosed with endometriosis of the pelvic wall in 2013. Symptoms included persistent lower pelvic pain (a ache/nerve pain) before a laparoscopy to laser lesion. Symptoms have been under control with the help of amitriptyline since then. However, symptoms have returned with a vengeance following

Anyone received Incapacity or incapability to work?
I have recently applied for incapacity for work on UC but I feel very negative about my chances of getting it. I learned last week that the only doctor at my surgery who had any understanding of the condition and would have provided me with decent evidence has retired a couple months ago. Had I known

My nightmare after taking Amitriptyline
I had never heard of Amitriptyline until my doctor suggested I take 1 every night to help with lower back pain....the only thing she really said was make sure to take it at night as it will make you sleepy..."Fair enough." I said and I left with my new medication to add to the collection. I am already

A quick update
Telephone consultation with Prof Dasgupta today. He was very unhappy with the higher dose of steroid I've had to increase to and wants me to get down using what he called a 'clinically recommended' taper....12.5, 10, 7.5. So, dropping 2.5mg every 4-6wks again. He also was certain after a lot of questioning

Is this a common form of RLS
Hi I’m 14 months off amitriptyline and struggling with a raft of psychological and physiology symptoms. One of the worst is an inner agitation/edge/restlessness. It starts with a horrible nervy sensation in the shins or calves of both legs. It then then generates the horrible restless and edgy feelings

Sertraline Side Effects
Hi all. I just started on 50mg sertraline today. As the day has gone on, I’ve been feeling quite spacey and a bit nauseous. Is it normal for the tablets to have an effect this quickly? I was on amitriptyline at university but have been off any kind of medication for about 4-5yrs now

Apologies don't mean to bring anyone down, just wanted to shoot the breeze with people who will understand. So my migraine situation continues, this has been 8 days although gladly today it's downgrading to headache so feel like a winner today. I've not taken my methotrexate as instructed as from

Help
Hi, I take 60mg of amitriptyline for fibromyalgia and Sulfasalazine for psoriatic arthritis. The amitriptyline has definitely helped with headaches and pins and needles. I still get a lot of pain in my coccyx and I struggle to sit as I end up in agony so I have to lie or sit in an awkward angle as I

Better sleep: 30 wakers & stoppers
I was asked for my list of "20" things that wake me up at night. Or 30... ;-). I had to analyze them to be able to try to start working again... so here goes (this is a public post, so best start a new thread if you want to say something private): Like many, I have to sleep more (+1h = 9h) than before

Unsure what to do
Hi all, newbie here. I've suffered with rls for a number of years, I was on Amitriptyline for a while several years ago but it didn't help. Then about a year ago, my rls seemed to stop apart from when I was really tired at night, sort of a time to go to bed sign. As it stopped once I was going to sleep
